Byron Marshall - RB - Redskins

I have no idea how Marshall will do as a Redskin but I can tell you as an Oregon Duck fan that he rushed for over 1,000 yard as a sophomore in 2013 then when Royce Freeman arrived and we had injuries at WR he moved to WR and had over 1,000 receiving yards in 2014. He got hurt at the start of his senior year but he is very versatile and seems like the perfect type of back to replace Chris Thompson. His numbers in the national title game were as a receiver.
  2. I should have clarified that it is not PPR - it is a standard scoring league. You are correct that if its PPR, Brown is a no brainier.

    I will answer all questions

See below - I cut and past from my own thread. As background we have a 12 person keeper auction league with a $200 salary cap. Standard scoring - non-ppr. You can keep up to three players each year by paying $10 more for that player than the previous year. I am in a great position that allows me unlimited buying power because I kept Beckham for $20 (got him two years ago for $0 during his rookie year when he was injured); David Johnson for $11, and Jordy Nelson for $10 (picked him up for $0 last year when no one bought him at the auction and rostered him all year to have him cheap this year). Thus, I have spent $41 on three studs - I have the buying power to buy any one of Adrian Peterson, Zek Elliott or Antonio Brown to fill out my starting roster at RB/WR. Here is the post from my thread. Seeking a little advice on who you would rather have. I am in an auction league in which you can keep up to three players from last years team by paying $10 more than you paid for that player the year before. You can keep a player for up to 3 years. So my keepers for very cheap are David Johnson, Odell Beckham, and Jordy Nelson. Basically this gives me a lot of money to spend. A lot of the other good players are also being kept by other teams and are not available to buy including Todd Gurley, Devonta Freeman, Doug Martin, Julio Jones, Lamar Miller, Mark Ingram, DeAndre Hopkins, etc. That means for studs (top 5 players) at RB/WR the options are Adrian Peterson, Zek Elliott or Antonio Brown. Because of how cheaply I have Johnson, Beckham and Nelson, I have the spending power to get any one of those three I want. We start 1 or 2 RBs and 2 or 3 WRs - so I could pair Peterson or Elliott with David Johnson and start 2 RBs and 2 WRs or I could buy Brown and Start Johnson plus 3 WRs. How would you rank Peterson, Elliott and Brown?

    tajae sharpe or devante parker

Parker has all the talent in the world. When he actually started to play last year in week 12, he out-performed Jarvis Landry on the Dolphins through week 17. The Dolphins will throw the ball a lot this year. He has a little hammy issue right now and that is why he is supposedly in the doghouse. The coach wants him on the field while Parker wants to rest the hammy. On the other hand, the Titans will be run heavy with Murray and Henry.

Short bench, who is the best RB of these guys? WHIR

    Handcuff with Coleman.

    Eddie Lacy for Mike Evans?

Keep Lacy - He appears to have come in back in shape. You are already solid at WR with Cooper and AJ Green but without Lacy your RBs are thin.

    Trade help!

I agree - I think Lamar Miller will be a beast on the Arian Foster role in Houston. Charles is still a risk coming back from ACL surgery and Decker is a #2 WR on a team that is a medicore passing team.

    Dez

I should have started John Brown. I now need 8.6 points from Dez tonight or I miss the playoffs. Brown would have already gotten me there. I have low confidence with the QB situation in Dallas. Crap.

    Andre Ellington

I have both Ellington and DJ. I just read that Arians said for DJ to expect 25 touches this week. My guess is that with how explosive DJ is, that after getting 25 plus touches, it will be tough for Arians to keep him off the field anymore. Ellington will likely suffer the same fate he suffered when he was injured and CJ took over, he will be relegated to back-up.

    Dez

I am rolling with him but not because I have any level of confidence. Romo being out is a huge problem for Dez. I just don't think I have any other great options. We start two WRs and I have ODB, Dez, Allen Hurns, and John Brown. So I am starting ODB and Dez. Hurns is likely out with a concussion or I would seriously think about starting him over Dez. Perhaps I should start Brown, he had a decent game last week, but I do not trust his hammy.

    QB Options Week 10?

I was actually debating between Fitzpatrick and Cassel. Cassell finally put up some decent numbers last week with Dez back at full strength.

Matt Ryan - Last Play of Game

Now I am really confused. I only saw the very last part of the game. The official NFL site lists him as having 3 fumbles with only one of them a lost fumble. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2015101500/2015/REG6/falcons@saints#menu=gameinfo%7CcontentId%3A0ap3000000558571&tab=analyze&analyze=boxscore This is consistent with my Fantasy website that only docks him for one lost fumble. So did he have one or two lost fumbles last night?

Matt Ryan - Last Play of Game

That makes sense - I did not see the earlier play but when I checked in on my league site earlier in the game they had Ryan listed as having a lost fumble - then I saw the second lost fumble. They must have corrected the listing of the earlier bad snap as a lost fumble.

Matt Ryan - Last Play of Game

I have Matt Ryan as my QB. He lost a fumble earlier in the game last night against New Orleans. Then on the last Atlanta offensive play with less than 30 seconds to go, it appeared to me that he was stripped and New Orleans recovered. I thought I was going to see this morning that he would be credited with two fumbles. However, our fantasy football site and the NFL.com site still only list him as having 1 fumble lost last night. Am I missing something or is there going to be a stat correction in which Ryan is credit with a second fumble lost?
