Waiver Wire RB Headaches - Short Term vs. Long Range Value
GhostSurfer replied to GhostSurfer's topic in FFToday Board
Recap: I agree and I took the hot hand - Davis, unfortunately not so hot as Charles may be back this week....wtf? Reid would be am idiot to play Charles, but as an eagles fan who constantly watched him try some trick play on 2nd goal from the two - I wouldn't put it past him. The Chiefs need to win NOW! I also got Ridley for Sjax and feel the way I was before I got him. we'll see. FYI - very competitive and fairly high stakes league: davis, bradshaw, asiata, robinson, ridley, dbrown, rainey (he had McCoy and morris - no sweat) RB's waived: gerhart, Hyde, mjd, sankey, and S jax. No McKinnon or blue. I'm surprised to see the Brown love... I like him, but in a time share.. I'm not buying.... -
Waiver Wire RB Headaches - Short Term vs. Long Range Value

It seems like everyone is all over the place on these Wire Rb's... I'm at # 2 and need help! I focked up my auction draft and need to slowly build a better team.... Some of these guys will be great short term, but I'm more interested in season long contributions (I have Murray and Lacy as my 1, 2 punch - no flex). Anyway, Ridley was dropped last week so this is my rankings: Please feel free to chime in, Kniles Davis - Beast while JC is out - but for how long Ridley - Last week was great, but I HATE the asshat in charge Bradshaw - Timeshare as the Colts try to justify TRich trade Asiata - Starter for the year?? If so, my # 1 due to volume and opportunities. Worried about mckinnon Robinson - Talented, but NO backfield is a landmine like New Englands Rainey - Looked really good, but Martin is probably locked as the # 1 D Brown - Short term and timeshare w/Woody -
I'm always worried when I face the Pack/Rodgers. Granted they aren't producing like in years past, but are still too risky for me to go against. They are hurting at the skill positions which could mean more opportunties for the Texan's D. My best hunch: I take the Cards and their bend-don't-break game plan. Thanks for the trade advice earlier and good luck!

I'd only do the deal if the 2nd one is locked down. Sorry, I don't see a guy giving up CJohnson for AJ and Smitty... If Jackson goes down Spiller is Top 10 or higher.

I would roll w/Martin vs. KC. He has a lot to prove w/Blount breathing down his neck, whereas Maclin still seems a bit rusty. Good luck.

I'm not sure if i'm just rearranging the deck chairs w/this trade but would like some opinions. I have Romo and Schaub and pick the wrong one each week. Cam has struggled but can be HUGE at times. My RB's are McCoy, Ridley, Ballard, Best ( i know, i know...). Ridley is scaring me w/the fumbles and his Coach - in 2 weeks he might be 4th string. S Jackson is a beast, but can't seem to stay healthy or catch a screen pass. Tight ends are thrown in for bye week issues. Big risk - Big reward or just Big Risk?? Thanks!
