    #2 RB Help, Please!

I'm gonna have to agree with the group and say Taylor. Addai might very well prove himself mid-season, but I wouldn't start him yet.
  2. Who on earth do I start? I just picked up Brunell of waivers... We start 1 QB, I have Big Ben, Brees and Brunell. Right now, Brees is my starter... Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!

    which TE for week 1?

I'm starting watson. Don't have Heap, but I think Watson is good enough to start all year

    Please GRADE My Team

Your new so I'll go easy... First off, wrong board. Most of the replies you will get for a rate me team on the FF Today board are gonna be that it sucks - even if you had LJ, LT2, SA, Holt, Johnson and P. Manning Post again to the Help board and you should get a couple of reasonable answers... Post some info on who you start, what the scoring is, etc... With that, we can provide reasonable feedback. First blush - doesn't look too bad. Your WR's are a bit weak, I'd have taken a stud in round 2/3 (with first pick your gonna have slim pickins in round 4). Look to trade for an upgraded WR if you can.

In a tough situation WR help

Jennings or Wilford are solid picks and should perform. Gabriel is a great choice if he is riding your bench and your looking for a possible sleeper. If you need to start him off week 1, go with the first two, if he is for depth, I'd take Gabriel.

    Rate team

I'd get more depth at WR. You have plenty of RB and QB depth, you should be able to trade off 1 or those for a better WR or package up a few players for a top flight WR.

    Did Cedric Benson get cut?

NFL.com puts him as the number 2 RB

    Cedric Benson or Tatum Bell

If you can, I'd drop your backup K and D to pick up some depth at RB. You can then switch out for K/Dst during their bye weeks with somebody on your roster that isn't performing as you had hoped. I just had an autodraft where I had to pick up 2K, 2TE and 2DST - as soon as the draft was over, I dropped my backup K/TE/DST to pickup more depth at WR and RB. I'm quite happy with the team. See above post for who to pick up, I think his suggestions are spot on. Good luck and welcome to FF

    Gore/Bledsoe/Housh for Palmer/Horn?

Take it and run. Trade looks good, if you have RB depth, you are gonna have to drop one anyhow to get your starting lineup filled. You will do well with this. Gore is a solid RB, but if you truely have depth - you shouldn't miss him.

    Addai or Lundy?

I'd keep Addai... I think his upside is better. if you can get both, the do it. Otherwise, I'd put Addai above Lundy. I think Addai takes the starting job (or at least gets more carries) mid season - he becomes a high value player. You have SA and Dunn, so your pretty solid anyhow.
  11. I will! Thanks for the advice! I did get a bit caught up and took a reach! Hopefully I covered it with Gore and time will tell. Funny, FF is a lot like Golf - it looks so easy from the outside, but there is SO much too it! I'm still getting my feet wet, and you guys are a great help! Thanks for the advice, next year I'll have to do a bunch of mock drafts to see what is up and were guys are going. Thanks again!

Dunn or Parker for RB2 - Week 1

Really... Paker above... Hmm... Now your guys really have me thinking... Time to go and do some more reseach. ADP shows Parker is getting drafted ahead of Dunn, but my point projections show Dunn with the edge. Age is a big factor, and I think your right that he is gonna get a bit more pain with the goal line carries. Your also right on the run factor of the coaching... Okay... sold - lets see how it pans out!

    watson or witten trade

I'd do it and take Watson. He looks to be a stand out player this year. I've got him as my starting TE in my league. I've got Witten and Watson ranked together for my setup. Your taking a bit of a risk, but I think he will pan out.
  14. I can't decide... According to my research and projected scoring, Dunn is slight advantage to Parker over the course of a year. For week 1, I just don't know who to start - and I'm getting a feeling that this is going to be a weekly challenge! Both Dunn and Parker are pretty solid #2 backs - I guess the decision comes down to who they are playing. Any opinions? Thanks in advance!
  15. Thanks Mike! I figured, there had to be some hedge in there for Addai to put up some big numbers. I hope we are both right and he pans out big. I own him in my two money leagues and am planning on keeping him on the bench for a couple of weeks to see what happens. The compiler has been quite helpful, and has made get my fantasy feet wet a whole lot easier I guess the real test will come as the weeks move on, making the right moves with the right guys. Good luck in your leagues - it should be a fun year! No worries - I can understand how its annoying that people post in the wrong spots. As for reading the board... I'll do that! There is a ton of information out there - and FFToday is a great resource! Anyhow, it appears that my gut feeling for Addai and his rankings were right. There appears to be a hedge for him taking the led spot as the season moves forward. And for reference - my team management question (who to start) was posted in the help forum. I haven't gotten much of a response on it - but I did put the question to that board. I took Addai as a sleeper in my first league, after LJ, Dunn and Parker. I think he is a very very solid # four and I'm really happy with that pick. As for this second league, the one I'm running, I just couldn't figure out why he has popped up so high in the rankings... Anyhow, enjoy your season, I'll keep my eye on the boards as I make my moves and try to take home some big money for my first year
