Bigtuna's QB rankings 2006: they are in!
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to bigtuna's topic in FFToday Board
No Bledose love ? They Added TO and he's coming off of, what, 25 TD's ?? -
I got Tatum Bell in a Dynasty draft. I don't trust Shanny one bit, and my confidence in Ron Dayne is a 1 out of 10 Bell - even IF Dayne is the #1 guy, will still get you 1,000 total all purpose yards and 6-8 TD's That aint bad at all - and if he beomes THE man in Denver ? Much, much more

Draft almost done: big 4 WR team, screw the RBs
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to thorshammer's topic in FFToday Board
and only 2 RBs Yeah ......... but dude you don't HAVE 2 RB's to start. its like you're starting 7 guys against a team starting 9 guys - your RB's are THAT pathetic I don't care how good 4 players are on your team, you will not win playing with a -2 RB handi-cap -
All aboard the Cedric Benson express, choo, choo...

that = GOLD -
In an auction draft, I sold my soul for the BIG 4 WRs
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to thorshammer's topic in FFToday Board
I build teams with depth to overcome bye weeks issues and injury, and if this is a Dynasty league you've REALLY screwed yourself IMO. You'll win no more than 1/2 your games this year if even that UNLESS all 4 of those WR's have career year. ALl my eggs in one basket I do not do -
you can't complain about a RB getting 300-320 touches a year what he does with them is another story - think 1200 yards and 8-10 TD's at least IMO

why is everyone hating on brett favre?
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to Da Bomb's topic in FFToday Board
name me 5 QB's that will play every minute of all 16 games and toss more than 20 TD's gauranteed -
Kevin Jones - Steppin Up or Steppin Down?
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to Kilroy's topic in FFToday Board
which is why I traded him. he's doing all he can, and still leaves games early, gets average stats, gets injured .......... if thats all he can do, I'll roll my dice with the 1.2 rookie pick. again, I KNOW what Kevin Jones is ........ and I need better than that -
#1 overall rookie dynasty pick for #4 & #7 overall rookie
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to jiujitsugod71's topic in FFToday Board
a lot depends on your roster needs, the rules you play under etc I would do it with some of my teams, others I would not In one league I have the 1.2 pick and would trade it for like the #5 and #8 or something like that. Why ? There are 5 RB's this year +/- and 3 Qb's and 1 TE - 9 rookies that good picks. I'm not tickled with any of the WR's . Anyway, you'd be trading a Reggie Bush for a Deangelo Williams or Addai plus you'll also get a Linehart/Young/Cutler or maybe even Vernon Davis at #7 If you have rookie holds, this could be a good trade. 2 for 1's are good - if you pick the right players -
Kevin Jones - Steppin Up or Steppin Down?
Soggy Bottom Boys replied to Kilroy's topic in FFToday Board
I traded Kevin Jones for the 1.2 rookie pick this year, 12 team Dynasty League. Several reasons for it ... but I will get Maroney or Reggie Bush and both have a better upside. Why do I say that ? I know what Kevin Jones is at this point, injury prone on a team with a new offense, Bryson/Pinner/Calhoun to compete with and with those WR's it aint going to be a 300 rush season by any means. More upside in Bush/Maroney I say a neutral year for Jones - neither up nor down, you'll get maybe 1,000 yards and 5-7 td's ....... -
Thats my feeling on it. I have Barber III in a dynasty league and traded for Julius Jones in the off season. I've got the Dallas RB sewed up for the next couple years I figure and whomever it is will have very good stats. I'm betting on Julius for the 2006 season

I think Gado will start, falter and Green will get the carries - a split between those two IMO
-
If it isn't Lewis getting the touches who will ? Anderson ?

My thoughts exactly. Not one WR in JAX has stepped up to say "ME ! Throw it to ME Byron ! " and with Jimmy a year older - this guy might see 50 rec and 4-5 TD's and won't even be in the top 15 TE's taken in most leagues
