chcougar1 6 Posted July 24, 2015 I have the first pick in our dynasty rookie draft next month. I am leaning on taking Melvin Gordon, but am wondering if there would be any reason to go in a different direction. It's a standard scoring 10 team dynasty league. We are allowed to have 18 players on the roster. Start 1qb, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 flex, 1 TE, 1 DST, 1 K QB: Newton, Romo RB: L. bell, AP, Spiller, T Richardson (likely to drop once Gordon is drafted), D Williams WR: Dez, Hopkins, J Matthews, M. Bryant, LaFell, D. Adams TE: J Hill, O Daniels D/ST: Texans, Broncos K: Bryant
JoePaterno'sGlasses 0 Posted July 25, 2015 Gurley might have more long term value, he's the best RB prospect since Peterson, but in a tough division and on a team with no obvious passing threat, so Gordon should be better this year...tough call.
chcougar1 6 Posted July 25, 2015 Yeah. Gordon should help immediately while Bell is suspended. Gurley is going to take half a season to get going. Long term you are right, but I'm kind of in "win now" mode. I do have quite a bit of youth already so hopefully I will be a contender for years to come.
