I am in a 12-team dynasty league...but a couple teams bailed last minute. This is the third year and its on CBSsportsline. I am not the commish, but I am in charge of recruiting new people right now, so if you are interested let me know. Pretty decent teams...One has Brees, Bush, Benson, AJohnson, to name a few and the other has Gore, Portis, TJones, Evans off teh top of my head. I can provide full roster if you like and you can choose ateam. Cost is $60 which goes towards the site cost and payouts. If you are interested message me back on here or at my email address: justinpod@hotmail.com Looking for someone asap. Thanks.

I just took over a new team that has Steven Jackson on it. We start 2 QB, 3RB, 4WR, 1TE. Here is my current line-up: Collins, Kerry TEN QB Croyle, Brodie KCC QB Griese, Brian CHI QB Grossman, Rex CHI QB Johnson, Brad DAL QB Arrington, J.J. ARI RB Barber, Marion DAL RB Jackson, Steven STL RB James, Edgerrin ARI RB Suggs, Lee FA RB Taylor, Fred JAC RB Berrian, Bernard CHI WR Cotchery, Jerricho NYJ WR Crayton, Patrick DAL WR Horn, Joe ATL WR Lelie, Ashley SFO WR McCareins, Justin NYJ WR Price, Peerless BUF WR Toomer, Amani NYG WR Clark, Dallas IND TE The guy who has 1.01, 1.02 in the rookie draft is interested. He also has Fitz, Romo, Benson, De Williams and VJax. Which do you think would be good return for Steven Jackson?

Bulger put up some wicked fantasy numbers last year, but Kitna wasnt far behind. With Calvin Johnson this year and a possibly better o-line Kitna's numbers look to be just as impressive this year if not better. Bulger would still be a good trade for a 3rd rounder, but I still wouldn't if you plan on keeping Kitna and are only required to start one quarterback.
-
I would not do this trade. Bell is only a fill in until KJones is back (which could be the start of the season), after that he becomes a back-up RB. Even if Bell was starting the entire year I would not do this deal. Take Peterson too.

I have Fitgerald, Colston, Driver and A Johnson, M Jones in a league where we start 3 WR. No PPR. 1 pt = 10 yards rec, 6 pts TD. I am looking to trade one of these WR along with McGahee in a deal for SJax. Driver is getting older, but how will A Johnson do with Schaub? How will Colston do as #1 and in his sophomore season? Out of Colston, Driver and Johnson, who would you trade away?

It looks like Turner will remain in San Diego for one more season and then he should be gone. I would hang onto him if I were you. You are set with LT and should get a decent season out of Green and Henry, but the rest of your RB's are questionable. If LT goes down you have Turner this year and next year you will have Turner as a starter to go along with LT. If you were weak at WR I would say it would be an ok move, but you a good WR core.

If we are talking about a redraft, I think that Lynch would probably be a solid late 2nd round - early 3rd round pick. It's hard to know what a rookie will do when given the starting job (ie JJ Arrington) and he still may see touches taken by A-Train or Dwayne Wright. I would draft him somewhere after Benson or Cadillac and likely before guys L Jordan, J Jones, T Bell, C Taylor, J Lewis, A Green due to injury concerns and/or RBBC possibilities.
-
That is very hard to give you a fair answer without knowing how many teams in your league and how many starters you have. How many do you keep? What are the other owners like at the QB position?
-
I dont think that you should have a problem. We are changing our 12 team redraft to a 10 team keeper this year and I am going with 2 QB's. With 32 NFL teams there should be 32 starting QB's to choose from, meaning that if you draft smart you should end up with 3 QB's on your roster to comfortably fill in for bye weeks. If it were 12 teams I would say go with 1, but with 10 teams you should be good. If guys want to hoard QB's then it means they will be hurting at other positions like RB or WR if one of theirs go down.

Value of E.Johnson now that he is in New Orleans
potsie03 replied to WhoDat's topic in A Little Help!
I would definately put Johnson in the category of sleeper this year, but you should go with Heath Miller on this one. -
I would drop the following 5 players: R.Grossman - seriously? A.Smith - you can grab another decent QB in the draft D.Williams (Davis) does not have a team and may never play again F.Taylor - getting older and will see less carries J.Carney - Kicker...'nuff said

Who is the better keeper RB between Cedric Benson and DeAngelo Williams?
-
Not sure how serious the injury is that knocked Taylor out of last week's game, but if he is unable to play or limited, Jones-Drew could have a big game. Your best 2 options are Betts and Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew is a safe bet averaging 10 points per game this year and has not scored less then 7 fantasy points in a game since week 3. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=259556

Down to the semi-finals and my starting tight end (Ben Watson) may not be able to play this week. There are a number of options at TE if Watson cannot play and could use some advice on who is the best for week 15. If I need to pick up a TE who should I drop? With Dallas Clark being injured I was thinking that Ben Utecht might be a good pick-up. Here is my lineup: QB- Favre BR- LT, Gore WR - Fitzgerald, Booker TE - Watson* K - Wilkins D - Bears Bench - J Cutler, D Rhodes, D Williams, D Foster, H Ward, J Cotchery Here is who is available: Daniels (vs NE), Wrighster (vs TEN), Campbell (vs GB), Utecht (vs CIN), Baker (vs MIN)

I would keep Gore. He has proven to be a stud and as the 49ers improve over the next few years, Gores value will only go up. Jones-Drew is playing great, but I don't think he will ever be a true starter at RB. He will continue to have success as a change of pace back, a return man and a receiver out of the backfield.
