    Saints RB situation

I think Bush benefits the most from Bell's injury. I think he will see an extra 5-7 carries getting him up to 10-12, plus his normal 4-7 rec. He could be in for a nice game.

    Saints RB situation

I picked up Hamilton last night in two of my leagues because I just felt like there is something more going on with Thomas than we know. It just makes no sense that they would play him on kickoffs last week but not give him any carries in the game once Bell went down. If they were trully worried about re-injury, kickoff returns are not where you would risk him. I don't know if it is the B.S. story of how he cut his leg on a fence or what. But something stinks in the swamp...

    Even Slaton's coach hates him

I would be much more worried about a guy like Portis who did nothing with a prime matchup against the Rams.

This years Deangelo Williams may be upon us...

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin hinted that Rashard Mendenhall's role will grow. "I think as we continue on he's going to get more of those opportunities and he better produce more of those plays," said Tomlin, when asked about Mendenhall's 39-yard run against the Bears in Week 2. Mendenhall has just seven carries so far this season while Willie Parker has 27. By saying this years DW, I mean't a guy who wasn't supposed to do much who could be a nice starting RB if given the chance. Not saying the guy runs like DW. Maybe I should have said this years Slaton??
  5. Tomlin came out and finally said he expects Mendenhall to start to see more of the workload. I know the the o-line isn't one of the best, but what an easy schedule they have. If FWP is finally done, and Menenhall is going to get 20+ carries, no reason why he cant break into a top 12 RB. They should have a lot of goal line TD's due to the strong passing game. Go get him on the cheap!!

    Even Slaton's coach hates him

Uhhh, read between the lines. I would venture to say this is more a motivation ploy than anything else. Nobody wanted Cedric Benson in the off-season or he sure as hell wouldn't have come back to the Bungles. Slaton led the AFC (and possibly the NFL, not sure) in yards from scrimage last year. He also doesn't come with the history of C.B. I think Kubiak would be better off telling his lazy ass o-line to block, rather than start to smoke the confidence of his young runner. It isn't like Chirs Brown has seen a crack of day light behind that o-line, so why would Cedric Benson be nay better?

Who will be the number 1 RB....

Ok, I am sure I will get booed for this, but I am going to say that LT2 will be the best RB from here on out. For those of you who watched the Pitt/SD game yesterday was it just me or does LT2 look like the same LT2 of old. He cut back and ran hard on a piss poor field. If SD will use him like they did yesterday and start to throw him the ball again, he will put up monster stats the rest of the way against SOFT D's. Who do you say is number 1?

    Top Ten Busts Since 1990

I think Leaf is #1 for the simple fact that the Colts were actually struggling to decide between he and Peyton Manning... Some experts say they didn't decide until the night before the draft. Could you imagine if the Colts took Leaf!!! Since we are only going back to 1990, I will take it back on more year & say Tony Mandrich is my #2 bust of all time. Aikman was the first pick, Mandrich second then a little guy named Barry Sanders went third. Also taken in that draft were Deion Sanders, Eric Metcalf, Derrick Thomas & Andre Rison just to name a few. The Bears have had so many busts of recent memory. Grossman, Terrell, Rashan Salam, Enis. How about a guy like Blair Thomas of the Jets?? He was supposed to be the shiznit coming out of Penn State, the Jets took him in the first and he SUCKED! Last but not least I have to go with MIKE VICK!!! Yeah I know he was a good player in the NFL, but when you think of what the Falcons gave up to get him. They traded there first & second round pick to move up. With those picks, SD took LT2 in the first & Drew Brees in the second.

Anybody else play in a league full of biotches?

That's what I think too. But the owners in my league say I got the better end of the deal...

    I just traded LT2 for Thomas Jones - 9/12/2008

I just traded Forte and Steven Jackson for LT2 and the owners in my league think I raped the guy, go figure...
  11. I trade Matt Forte and Steven Jackson for LT2. The other owners in my league act like I just pulled of the heist of the century! In our scoring, Forte has scored 129 to LT2 113 and Jackson has scored 112 to LT2 113. I gave the guy two top 10 RB's for an under performing LT2, if I anything I think I gave up to much. Did I also mention this is a keeper league where you can keep two players & both Forte and Jackson can be kept for two more years to LT's 1 more year??? The other guys RB's besides LT were Fred Taylor, Deuce & Graham who is now dealing with a knee injury and is uncertain to play again any time soon. Chime in on the biotches in your league!!

    Sorry FWP owners...

Per Rotoworld: Speaking on ESPN Radio 950 in Philadelphia, Brian Westbrook said his injury was "closer to being a high ankle sprain" than anything else. "But at the same time," he continued, "A high ankle sprain depends on the person." A high ankle sprain doesn't sound great, but Westbrook came off as being in good spirits and said he already felt better after starting his rehab on Monday. Westbrook says he'll try to play Sunday if he's close to ready. If the injury is a high ankle sprain, that seems to be a long shot. Sep. 22 - 8:22 pm et

    Sorry FWP owners...

I think this is a bigger injury than what is being discussed. The fact of the matter is, to rule him out on Tuesday when they don't play until Monday night, is not a good sign. I mean hell, Westbrook has what is being called a possible high ankle sprain, Andy Reid is still talking about trying to get him ready for this week. I don't think Westie will play, but he is making the Skins game plan for him. Tomlin could have said, "Willie is dealing with a sore knee, we will do our best to get him ready." But to declare him out and give Baltimore the advantage of not needing to game plan for Parker, makes no sense unelss he won't be any where near the practice field. I bet he has a slight tear or sprain of the MCL ala Vince Young (with out the prozac) that is about a 4-6 week injury. Why in the hell woudn't they give him treatment and see what happens with it prior to declaring him out??? Fast Willie will not play until week 8 or 9 (If you are lucky) mark it down!!!

    Huge break up!

Brett Favre and John Madden have broken up. Madden is now ALL OVER Jason Witten's jock. Don't get me wrong, I think Witten is the best TE in football, but come on Madden take your mouth off his ######... "Jason Witten should get two pay checks a game." "Look at how Witten opens that hole." "Jason Witten makes the best pasta & meatballs." LOL!
