Smith vs Coles vs Patten

For a WR 3 in a PPR system, I have to choose among Steve Smith, Lav Coles or David Patten

 

Smith - this offense is a train wreck and the Seahawks defense is not the greatest of matchups

Coles - weather plus injury causes much concern

Patten - very inconsistent but played big last week in first week of Saints-minus-Bush offense

yeah, i was kinda thinking the same thing with those 2 guys. i have 2 players saturday so that may give me so insight into whether i should swing for the fences or play smallball.

Patten has the better matchup and Brees seems to be giving him more looks now so he's the safest.

 

Smith's matchup is not so great and he's been spotty all year.

 

I'd stay away from Coles.

I would go with Patten. Smith and Coles wont' give you much, but could be useful if you don't need large numbers. I like Patten's chances on putting up decent points.

gotta go with Patten this week. I like the matchup and think he'll continue what he did last week.

gotta say Patten brees is targeting him alot and the saints throw all the time so i think its a safe bet.

thanks all. i read that TE Eric Johnson is out, too. That seals it, I am starting David Patte®n in the 2007 FF playoffs. This wasn't the plan on draft day, lol!
