    NFL = WWF

You realize the whistle blew within 1 second, and even the announcers called it an incredibly lucky break for the Browns, right? It was a very quick whistle that shouldn't have been blown. I just read a few threads though and you're in all of them crying about the Patriots, so can't expect you to see things with an open eye. End of day Patriots aren't winning SB, and the Browns should want a better draft pick. Devote your energy to better things.

It's pretty sad you dedicate so much of your life to hating the Patriots. The sig, the emotional rants and the wet underwear you have should tell you to not get so emotional over these things. End of the day the reffing is just flat out bad, and it doesn't favor one team more than another. I watched the entire game, which I'm sure most of you didn't, and there were multiple plays on both sides that left you scratching your head. Earlier in the game you had a Patriots' obvious defensive TD on a strip of Greg Little get blown dead after less than one second. Also had the awful Edelman pass interference.

Antonio Brown vs Joe Haden. Wildly varying rankings.

Completely foolish to base a players production on what players before have done vs a CB. Not saying Brown will go out and post a 7/130 line, but you CANNOT compare Brown to AJ Green. The Steelers use motion and quick hitting bunch formations to get Brown the ball. AJ Green does not play that way, so to try and compare Brown to any WR that has faced Haden does no good for you. It comes down to if you think the Steelers will throw 40 times -- if they do, odds are Brown gets 5-7 catches. If you think it'll be a low scoring slugfest and you have good options at WR, use someone else.

The division winners with the best record and the highest scoring team will each earn a bye in the playoffs. #1 Seed – Division winner with best record #2 Seed – Division winner with most points #3 Seed – Division winner with next best record. Tie breaker is head to head, then points #4 Seed – Division winner with worst record. #5 Seed – Non-division winner with most points scored #6 Seed – Non-division winner with second most points scored Tie breakers for division/playoffs will be 1) head to head 2) total points 3) strength of schedule Promotion/Relegation System is designed to make sure every division in our league is competitive. This is purely points based. Teams who finish 1-4 in points will be in the same division the next season, with 5-8/9-12/13-16 completing the division alignments. Each year, teams will play their division twice each, totaling six games, with the remaining games being randomly generated. Playoffs are weeks 14, 15 and the championship is week 16. ROSTERS AND LINEUPS Teams will consist of 25 players from Week 1 through the championship in Week 16. The following starting lineup is used each week: 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 TE 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE) 1 K 1 DEF Benches will consist of 15 players, but must meet the following guidelines: -No more than two QB’s on your roster at once (this way a team can always have a starting QB) -No more than two K and DEF at once (to allow every team to have a starter) -No max on number of RB/WR/TE on your roster Teams will also have three injure reserve slots to use on their team. If a player is ruled out for a game he is eligible to be on injured reserve. As soon as he is declared active he must be active on your team. A player on injured reserve does not count towards your 25 man roster. To place and remove a player from injured reserve, he must be posted on the league forum. SALARY CAP The salary cap at the start of season 1 is $250. Teams cannot exceed $250 at any point during the season. This is a number that will never increase. Player contracts increase 5% every season and is rounded up to the nearest dollar. This means that if a player costs $10.01 he will now be $11. If you do the math, you can see that if you keep every player on your team every season, you will eventually be over the salary cap. This is by design, to create a free agent pool that is not depleted and force GM’s to make hard salary decisions. Players are also given a bonus in dollars equivalent to how many years they have been on your team. Here is an example of a contract: Player Drafted in Auction for $10 Year 2 Price: $10.5 rounded up to $11 + $2 bonus = $13 Year 3 Price: $11.55 rounded up to $12 + $3 bonus = $15 Year 4 Price: $12.60 rounded up to $13 + $4 bonus = $17 If a player is kept, his price cannot be below $5. This means if you draft a player for $1 in year 1, he is automatically $5 year 2. ROOKIE DRAFT The rookie draft is held yearly after the NFL draft in early May. The draft is done via the league message board and owners have 24 hours to make their selections. The draft will consist of five rounds. Owners may bypass their selection if they choose. All rookies not selected will go into the free agency auction draft. Draft order is based on results from last season. To prevent tanking, teams who did not make the playoffs are all entered into an equal chance lottery. This means the team who finished seventh has just as good a chance as the #1 overall pick as the team who finishes sixteenth. Do no tank. Picks 11-16 are based on the playoff results from last year. Rookie salaries are based on when they are drafted. The following is the rookie pay scale: -Round 1, pick 1 (1.01) will cost $15 -Picks 1.02 and 1.03 will cost $14 -Picks 1.04-1.06 will cost $13 -Picks 1.07-1.10 will cost $12 -Picks 1.11-1.16 will cost $10 -All round 2 picks are $5 -All round 3 picks are $3 -All round 4 picks are $2 -All round 5 picks are $1 OFF-SEASON FREE AGENCY Following the rookie draft and all re-signings, all undrafted and unsigned players will be entered into an auction draft for all owners to bid on for the upcoming season. The team with the highest bid is awarded the player. IN SEASON WAIVERS If a player is released during the season, he is on waivers for 48 hours. Teams can submit a claim to sign the player at the price he was released at. The team with the least amount of points at the time of the claim is awarded the player. If a player goes unclaimed through the 48 hour waiver process, he is now eligible to be signed for the remainder of the season to the highest bidder over a 24 hour period. TRADING The trade deadline is after week 8 of the regular season and is in place until after the championship. Trades may be completed at any point in the off-season as long as players are under contract and the owner is paid in full. At no point can a team exceed $260 on a trade. Draft picks are allowed to be traded two years in advance, but in order to draft away a first round pick for the following season the owner must be paid in full for the next two seasons. If an owner trades rounds 2 or 3, he must be paid a year in advance. This is done to prevent someone loading up for one season and quitting. Example: It is 2013. If an owner wants to trade his first round pick, he must be paid in full through 2015. If an owner trades away his second/third round pick, he must be paid through 2014.

    When Are Stat Corrections Posted?

Pretty awful that nowadays we have to wait until end of the week to make sure we won our games. I'm in a league format where it is points based for $500, and somehow me and another owner finished exactly tied atop the league with the exact same fractional points. I own the tie breaker but can't officially celebrate until stat corrections come out. Anyone have a clue where to find them and when they are launched?

Top Three Quarterbacks in the NFL right now?

Just so we're clear here... If David Tyree drops that ball, or Asante Samuel doesn't drop the interception, Tom Brady is now better than Eli Manning, right? Since that one play out of 50,000 would be the difference between clutch and non-clutch. Just making sure this is how you want to base your argument on Eli being better. I'm not saying Eli or Tom are better, just pointing out how stupid it is to base an argument on 'clutch' when far too many factors come into play.

Top Three Quarterbacks in the NFL right now?

Drew Brees with a sturdy 31/16 TD:INT ratio this year, clearly ahead of everyone else. Must be hard throwing in a dome and playing from 14 down all game time and time again. Give me Rodgers/Brady/Manning in any order. Those are the three best QB's of this generation.

    Eric Decker....is this POS hurt?

It's infuriating to watch. I really think Manning got pissed he dropped a few balls in prior weeks and is writing him off. How every Broncos play goes: *Decker lines up on the right* *HIKE* *Manning stares left*

Horrible weather in Buffalo - rain and very strong wind

Right now says its 50 degrees, overcast with 5 mph wind. http://www.wunderground.com/US/NY/Buffalo.html

    Jarius Wright

Big week for me, need to sustain my points lead so I'm just looking for 10 points out of my 3rd WR. Right now it's between Mike Williams and Jarius Wright. Anyone rolling with Wright vs. Green Bay? All I need out of him is 5 catches for 50 yards, really.
  11. When is it ever a bad play to start a #1 RB vs the worst run defense in the NFL? Turner was a top 20 RB this week, so your opponent did the right thing no matter how upset you are.
  12. SweetnessWJP

    Beanie Wells

Because 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns is cancerous, right? He's not a cancer, you just have to have realistic expectations and not expect him to be an RB1. Last year had a touchdown in eight games, usually good for 50 yards as well. Very solid mid/low RB2 and a VERY good RB3.

    Kaepernick: his value moving forward

Destroyed an elite D in Chicago last week, did very well on the road in a very hostile environment. This year his sky is the limit, not enough game tape on him and he has receivers galore.

Seahawks CBs face 4-game PED suspensions

Hold onto them for another week. They are appealing and should play this week vs. the Bears potentially without Forte, and Chicago's RG is now out. Should be a solid play even on the road.

    Nancy Hernandez

Awful game, should've rode with Dwayne Allen this week, sigh Really bad timing for him to lay an egg. 49 points and he barely gets anything. That offensive pass interference also seemed like a ticky tack call.
