Same here, I have an error on Rafael Devers already, yet the Sox haven't played a game yet. I'm losing the category right now because of it...LOL
-
Yeah, I agree with you, it just sucks for BC to lose such a high pick in the draft before the season even starts. I agree that there really isn't a good way of allowing for a replacement.
-
Maybe Giolito too for BC. Confirmed he is having elbow surgery, probably will end his season before it began.
-
Great pick. I was considering him too because of his potential, even though I have 3 others that qualify at SS. I hope he can stay healthy for you this year, the guy is a beast.
-
Apologies for the delay, had soccer practice for my boy. I second WhiteWonder on the not picking any Yankees, unless they are exclusive I guess (Verdugo) or if there were no other options.

28.02 - Yainer Diaz, C/1B, HOU
-
27.11 - George Kirby, SP, SEA

I'm out and about right now. I'll be heading home in a few to make my pick.

That's what she said....blah!

Doneski! C – Connor Wong 1B – Tristan Casas 2B – Mookie Betts 3B – Rafeal Devers and Yoan Moncada SS – Trevor Story and Xander Bogaerts OF – Tyler O'Neill, Kyle Schwarber, Jarren Duran, Masataka Yoshida, Wilyer Abreu, Alex Verdugo, Andrew Benintendi and Adam Duvall DH – Rotation of the best available from 2B/3B/SS/OF group. SP – Nathan Eovaldi, James Paxton, Nick Pivetta, Bryan Bello, Kutter Crawford, Martin Perez and Tanner Houck RP – Kenley Jansen, Matt Strahm, John Schreiber and Garrett Whitlock Between, Betts/Bogaerts/Story I have a pretty good rotation for 2B/SS once Bogaerts becomes 2B eligible. Boston's 5th starter is still up in the air with Giolito going down. Two out of the Houck/Whitlock/Winckowski group will be there to start the season. I'm a little light on RP right now but I have several exclusives available (Bernadino, Campbell, Jaques, Murphy, Weissert and Winckowski to name a few). I've got a lot of OF depth, definitely open to trading for a starting C, 1B depth or RP. I was hoping to grab Hendricks or Springs in the later rounds to stash away for the second half but I was off by 1 round on both of them, good picks by cmh and WhiteWonder.

9.03 - Martin Perez, SP, PIT

11.03 - Connor Wong, C, BOS 12.10 - Garrett Whitlock, SP/RP, BOS

As I support the team that this affects in the real life side of baseball, I vote yes, he should get another pick.
-
5.03 - Tyler O'Neill, OF, BOS
-
4.10 - Matt Strahm, SP/RP, PHI
-
Yeah, probably not that bad I guess. Just such a big difference from year to year.
-
Man, what a difference from 2023's draft to this year. The first player I lost last year wasn't until Benintendi at 3.03. This year, I'm already down 4 players in the first 2 rounds, Rodriguez, Sale, Giolito (my 3 top SP targets) and Kimbrel (my 2nd closer target). I know others probably have it worse but I feel your pain at least to some extent this year.
-
3.03 - Nathan Eovaldi, SP, TEX
-
1.03 - Kenley Jansen, RP, BOS And now, sometime later today, Boston will sign Montgomery...
-
Understandable...lol
-
Yeah, no kidding. You watch, as soon as I make my pick tomorrow morning, they will sign him. That's my kind of luck.
