    SBarkley now questionable

If Barkley does play, how much do you trust that he will play with the usual snap count, or come out after a couple of series if his neck issue flares back up? I'm considering playing someone like Pacheco who I know will play the whole game.

    Lamar Jackson is dropable

I have to agree. Lamar is amazing, but he has no WR's, and Ravens seem to be ok with that. He gets you 50+ rushing yards to help offset the lack of TD's. It's painful to think how good he can be if he had any help.

Is Lamar Jackson still a great fantasy QB?

I'm very happy for Lamar for the Ravens win today. I'm also happy for Gus. Unfortunately, it seems that Lamar suddenly sucks as a fantasy QB. He went from being the best fantasy QB (weeks 1-3) to an ok fantasy QB (weeks 4-6), to a dud (week 7). Lamar is one of the top ranked QBs on all the cheat sheets, but my league does not award points for ranking prominence. I'm considering benching him next week for Tua unless his fantasy decline is explainable. What do you think is going on?

    Pats flu bug -

Among those battling the flu are several defensive starters. I was planning to sit Watson until I read this - now have him back in my lineup. It doesn't sound like this will cause players to be ruled out, but I have to believe they will not be at full strength.

    Trade Fournette for Hopkins?

I am in a PPR league. My RB's are Chubb, Fournette and Devonta Freeman. I am weak at WR. Should I trade Fournette for Hopkins?

Why no love for Dalvin Cook?

Nobody is talking about Dalvin Cook as a top-5 or 6 RB pick, and I would like to get opinions on if he should be. I do understand that his injury history has kept him off the field, but he is healthy coming into the 2019 season. Cook is not in jeopardy of losing many carries or RBBC, he is explosive, and he is on a good team that can move the chains. After Barkley, Zeek, Kamara and McCaffrey, I'm wondering why Cook is not higher in the rankings. Would welcome your opinions. Thanks.
  7. Should I start J.Conner or D.Freeman in week 3? Although I drafted Conner in the 1st round, here is what makes me consider starting Freeman instead: Conner is recovering from a knee injury, which was bad enough to knock him out of the game, but we did not hear anything more about it. Steelers have Mason Rudolph at QB, which might mean a bunch of 3-and-outs Conner hasn't impressed so far Freeman is healthy Atlanta's offense moves the chains Freeman has a good matchup vs Colts Please let me know which of these guys you would start. Thanks

    Should I start J.Conner or D.Freeman in week 3?

To clarify...if you had both Conner and Freeman on your roster, and you had to pick one to start in week 3, which one would you pick? Does your pick take into consideration actual week 3 factors (health, team, match-up), or is it just because you had him ranked higher coming into the season?

Why no love for Dalvin Cook?

It's fun looking back at all the "Geek" expert responses. Haha.
  10. I am starting to question if Kareem Hunt will be much of a factor after his suspension. He hasn't looked that impressive, and now is getting hernia surgery. How much would Nick Chubb move up in your RB ranking if you believed Hunt was not coming back?

    James Conner at 5th pick

After the top 4 RB's, every RB in the next tier (Conner, Bell, Chubb, D.Johnson, Cook, Gurley) has a risk. James Conner is on an offense that can amplify the fantasy value of any RB. The only risk with Jame Conner is that J. Samuels can be just as productive, and the Steelers indicated they intend to share carries more in 2019. It is not unreasonable to take James Conner as the 5th overall pick, but it is hard to make a case that any one of these guys is clearly the top of the tier. As a side note, it is especially comical to read posts saying that David Johnson is clearly the #5 pick...like they're reading a FF magazine from 2016, when he was on a very different Cardinals team.

The Fantastic Four: How Do You Rank Them?

Last year I drafted a healthy David Johnson because he was highly ranked - ignoring that he was on a terrible team. Terrible mistake. I see the same potential problems with Barkley. Zeek - if he is not holding out. will not draft him anticipating he will sign Kamara - when will Brees age catch up to him, impacting Kamara? They fall off fast when they get to that point Chubb - Other than not knowing how much K.Hunt will play after week 10, I would take Chubb #1 RB overall Barkley - Over rated because he is on a crappy team. Will avoid because a terrible team and talk of changing QB McCaffrey - will not draft him unless Cam is 100%

    Eli Manning vs Joe Montana

Eli was funnier on SNL. Joe is better at the football-related categories.

    David Johnson trade value

I drafted David Johnson with my #2 overall pick. Yesterday, I traded DJ straight up for Dalvin Cook (injured). I also picked up L.Murray off wavers as handcuff. Today, the air is fresher. Food tastes better. By the way, you all look wonderful!

    Ethics Question

Two things... While it is kind of a move, shame on the other owner for putting himself in that position. The other guy is mismanaging his team, and you would be taking advantage of that, Why would your league have no consequences or cost for you to churn the waiver players. Our league charges $ for each drop/add. Other leagues give you a limit per season. You guys need to fix that.

Le’Veon Bell - The hold out continues!

Our draft is Monday night, and I have the #2 pick. I am now leaning toward drafting D.Johnson if Gurley is off the board. I know Bell is great, but not sure how much better he is than D.Johnson, who does not seem to bring as much drama and headache to my fantasy football decisions.

    Another Kenyan drake post

I really like Kenyan Drake, and think he is under the radar. All of the "experts" disagree. I'm definitely targeting him as a value pick.

Should The Commissioner Have Nixed This Deal?

I voted no. Based on your description, there was collusion back in 2015, when Team A promised to trade Team B J.Jones if Team B won. This is 2018. If Team A and Team B are both making trades that (they believe) are benefiting their own teams, then there is no collusion in 2018.

Andrew Luck - What are owners expecting?

Please understand, I was a huge Andrew Luck fan, and truly hope that he can regain full health. But IMHO from a fantasy football perspective, he is not even close to being fantasy football relevant. I don't get these FFL articles tracking his daily progress...reporting how he is now able to "throw with no pain" or "walk across the room without assistance". Are there FFL owners who are actually counting on him for their 2018 season? If and when he ever does come back, I will need to see him perform at a high level before I would ever trust him. What are your expectations of Andrew Luck?

    Diggs

Although it was incomplete, it was good to see a deep pass attempt in to Diggs. Until now he just had a handful of sort passes. Very glad I didn't start him this week, but am looking forward to having him back in my lineup in week 10.

    Diggs

I'm sitting Diggs until he can play a full game without issue. I'm guessing the team will ease him into the game slowly, right before their week 9 bye. Then I'll start him with confidence in week 10. Plus, every player is worse when they have to travel to London to play.

Fairness...when have you crossed the line?

I like posts that describe situations like this. But there is nothing remotely aggressive or pushing any boundaries about what you did. Why are you asking if you "crossed the line"?

Josh Gordon Availability & Equal Opportunity

As of this post, you don't know if or how much he will get to play in 2014. Nobody does. The other owners who "missed the Josh boat" might be making smarter decisions than you.
  24. Given the Playoff picture, do the Chiefs have an incentive to play their starters the whole game? It looks like they are locked unless I am missing something. Any insight would be appreciated.
