Bunch of junk! I can see why you are looking for a change.. Been there done that... I think they've seen their day.. They continue to go down the FF ranks IMO. They've gotten so money hungry.
  4. Looks like some family issues as well... playing heavy on the heart Packers QB Favre and his wife, Deanna, stepfather, died at the age of 56, in Gulfport, Miss. According to a source close to the family, Byrd died of a heart attack Saturday. Favre was close to his wife Deanna's stepfather. The two were known to throw the football around when Byrd wasn't helping Favre with the acres of yard work on their property in Hattiesburg, Miss. When Favre asked his family a few years ago to vote on whether he should continue to play or retire, Byrd was among the inner circle that voted unanimously for Favre to play. In the wake of the news, Favre missed the morning practice Sunday, the 2nd day of Packers training camp. He returned to take part in the lengthy evening practice and is scheduled to leave early today to attend the wake. He is scheduled to return Wednesday night and take part in practice on Thursday. The death of Byrd seemed to weigh on Favre, who threw 4 interceptions during team drills in the evening.

    Priest Holmes

Read this this morning... Bizarre was the word to describe the news conference during which Chiefs RB Holmes tried explaining his decision to rejoin the team after a nearly 2-year layoff. Holmes did a lot of talking Sunday - but he really didn't say much. Asked what prompted his return, Holmes said: "I had a dream. I saw myself playing football, and I went to my children and asked them if they could see me playing football again. The word that came out of their mouths was 'Yes.' That's why I'm here." Holmes said his dream occurred about 6 days ago. He hasn't played since suffering a neck injury against SD in 2005."After the dream comes the self-doubt," said Holmes, who will be 34 in October. "You think, 'You're too old. You can't do this. You've been off 22 months. The athletes keep getting bigger, stronger and faster out of college, so why would you want to return?' "But I will tell you that when you have a vision and a purpose in mind, anything can be accomplished." Holmes said he expects to begin working out in pads in about three weeks. In the meantime he'll try getting in the same kind of shape that helped him become the Chiefs' all-time leading rusher.

Football for life... who are you????... Are you from footballguys -- Joe or David coming over here to steal some business... That's pretty low... especially over at your board when anyone says something positive on one of your competitors -- you pull the plug on them. I swear every time I turn around you “Football for life” is here pimping footballguys... and it is always around this time of year… Get lost!!! It’s so obvious!!!!

Vick looks like he's in the clear.

I've been watching this thing closely on Vick and I've got to agree with this guy... If he walks like a duck... looks like a duck... talks like a duck... HE"S A DUCK!!! I agree it is just a mather of time...

Stephen Davis leaves STL without signing contract

Risky pick for any team. To mush money and he'll probably get hurt. I'm sure there are reasons why no one is signing him -- other then big money. But, if a team really need him they'll pay.

I wish I had this misery... They'll both be gone by the time my turn in our draft comes.. (12th) ... LT

    Who do I keep?

Easy call -- you'll be able to drive that Cadillac for 3 more years. Not so clear with the other 2.

Larry Johnson - Steppin Up or Steppin Down?

I couldn't of said it better myself...

    Frank Gore

He's young, hungry and undervalued. Given he's worked so hard coming back from the knee injuries. I would'nt bet against him.
