He actually has a more than likely chance of making the playoffs and making a decent run. I suppose he thinks that ultimately, he won't win the championship, and would rather give up this year for the chance at dominating the next. As for all of you saying, 'rules are rules,' BECAUSE the trade is questionable, I have the ability to put it to a league vote. In all likelihood, the trade will be disallowed - because frankly, I don't imagine it sits well with anyone. My emphasis, however, is how to prevent trades like this even coming up in the future.

So, I commish a 3 player keeper league in which players drafted in the first 3 rounds are unkeepable. Here's the most recent trade in my league: Team A gives up: Ladanian Tomlinson Joseph Addai Team B gives up: 2008 Draft 1st - 4th Round Picks Essentially, Team A is conceding complete defeat this year in return for EIGHT picks in the first four rounds next year. Team B will have no chance next year (not to mention the rest of us against a team with eight picks in the first four rounds). Both teams have already paid league fees for next year. A player's 'drafted' status follows him from one team to the next. What would you do? On what grounds? And more importantly, what rules can I put in place to prevent from degrading the integrity of the league this way moving forward? A trade deadline/transaction moratorium before Week 11 obviously doesn't do any good here.

I have the opportunity to trade Addai/Andre Johnson for Lendale White/Reggie Wayne. I'm 7-0. Here's the rest of my team. Griese, Kitna Addai, LJ, Gore, Selvin Young Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Derrick Mason, Kevin Curtis, Marty Booker Cooley I'm a lock for the playoffs, and am just trying to build for the championship. Andre Johnson has Champ Bailey and Indianapolis in weeks 15 and 16. Course, Wayne won't do me much good either if he's resting on the bench too long to put up any numbers. Opinions? Why?

Are you really trying to liken the impacts of Travis Henry and Pacman Jones to gamebreakers like Ricky Watters and Jerry Rice? Chris Brown and Lendale White have combined for both more yards AND touchdowns than Travis Henry had through his first 5 starts in 2006 (which didn't even HAPPEN until Game 9). I'm sorry I didn't name every above average player on the Titans, but I figured I'd sufficiently proven my point by comparing ANYONE on the Titans roster to Jerry Rice. I'm not taking anything away from the Titans defense or coaching. They're amazing. At the same time, the Raiders defense gave up the 3rd fewest yards/game in the entire league in 2006, and please remind me, what did that get them? Just watch Vince play a few full games and maybe you'll begin to understand. He can almost single-handedly change the course of a game. He IS a gamebreaker. He IS an impact player. And yes, he does have 'IT.' My point is simply that the only so-called, 'asstard' is the one trying to liken a proven winner, leader, and champion like Vince to an overrated scumbag like Michael Vick.
