The Great Debate....better RB this year

more productive? how? i don't know what your league scoring is but in mine it's no question jackson has been more productive. rush yards rec yards td fumble total fantasy points SJAX 521 224 2 0 82 FWP 434 47 5 2 72

Arizona will beat Chicago Monday Night

are you taking into account the difference in collegiant conferences here? cutler was playing on a team with no offense basically whatsoever. he didn't have bush, white, a good defense and a stock of receivers. the sec is arguably the toughest in the country. the pac-10 is a JOKE. stat-wise of course he couldn't touch leinart. and not many could. skill-wise i guess we'll just have to wait and see. saying he is so short of leinart just going by comparion of college stats isn't a fair assesment at all.

Arizona will beat Chicago Monday Night

you heard it here first: grossman could miss the plane and the bears still win by 10 on defense alone. and by the way - leinhart wasn't the best qb in the draft. cutler was. not that you said he was, but just as a side note.

    What is McNabb's value?

i honestly think he's going to be solid all year as well. his schedule will get tougher, but still he is looking extremely good (better then i can ever remember seeing him perhaps), they have a good but not great defense and the bottom line is they are a pass first offense with what seems to be a very good pass protection offensive line. you can just about mark him down for 300 and 2tds every week no matter who he plays - that's not even counting rushing yards and tds. there are not a lot of qbs this year that you can say that about. still i wouldn't expect you to give up LT for him when you do have a serviceable qb in bulger.

    What is McNabb's value?

as a mcnabb owner there is no way i'd trade for anything less than some kind of deal with LT or a package of Dunn plus a receiver the caliber of Driver. but that's just me. mcnabb is by far the leading qb in my league and that is huge value. for now..

Who has the better matchup this week?

on paper maybe. but if i drafted manning in the first round as you probably did there's no way in hell i'd bench him. warner can still stink it up while peyton tears up defenses - doesn't really matter who it is. that being said my opponent this week has manning and i hope he is held to 2 tds and 250. but that's not very likely.

    Gametime Decision for TJ Houshmandzadeh

i don't know if he's a must start necessarily, but think about the fact that he's on a high powered offense, where palmer is close to a lock for close to 300 yards and at least 2 tds playing in what will probably be a high scoring game opposite one of the best receivers in the league. also, housh gets a LOT of red zone looks - so presumably these could go to henry. he scored about 6-7 tds last year and has looked great in preseason, specifically in the red zone. i picked him up and i'm thinking of starting him over reggie brown. not sure though since i have mcnabb and they're playing houston. my other option is to start him over kennison. all three of them are a crap shoot as far as i'm concerned.

    Top 5 Running Backs.......

i'm deciding between droughns and dillon at #2...any thoughts? i like both matchups - especially if maroney sits.

    Steven Jackson

if you like jackson then take him. he won't have any worse year than any of those others and he has just as much upside if not more. the difference of any of those guys will most likely be minimal. don't take manning though. you'll spend the whole draft making up for it.

    Stephen Davis to Rams

as a jackson owner, i'm personally not worried about this AT ALL. if you're worried about GL carries you should worry more about williams than davis. this is just a bunch of preseason hype that is nothing more than something for people to talk about. jackson is a beast and he will be getting goaline carries. please don't compare this to the portis situation as it's completely different. do what you want, but don't not draft jackson just because of davis - you will only be doing others in your league a favor by letting him slip.

Need Expert Advice at 3.05 pick in a PPR league

i was in this exact position just this past saturday. i too drafted jackson and johnson. for my 3rd pick i took jamal lewis, just because i think he will do well this year. pros: i was STILL able to draft both droughns AND dillon. cons: my other two receivers are reggie brown and kennison. so i chose to stock up rbs since they are few and far between this year, but i'm pretty shady at receiver. although i think i will be able to trade for one down the road if need be once rbs start going down and not producing.

    SJax

i really like jackson this year for the reasons you've listed. also has a pretty weak schedule. i plan on taking him 5th overall in a ten team redraft (yes, over tiki). might be kinda risky but even if he's not higher than tiki or the next couple, they're in the same tier and he won't fall much shorter in the end if you ask me.

    I'm thinking about drafting manning @ #5

i like jackson at 5. that's where i'm picking. i also would not advocate taking manning. good posts above.
