    Andy Reid should be fired...

I'm sorry oh so great and all knowing...you are right and I am wrong what a fool of me to question any coach for his play call. Oh and Reid was still wrong for not calling a RUN PLAY!

    Andy Reid should be fired...

I understand that some say the running game was not working, but it sure was working on the final drive and the play directly before the one in question. Once again the BOTTOM line for me is that the COACH needs to make better play calls in this situation... knowing that the first down is in site and the next three plays could easily bring you closer if not get you another first down...face it it was a bad play call and that falls on nobody but Reid. We can argue all you want, but I will not change my mind based on anything you guys are saying. Pick apart the post all you want, but it really isn't changing the fact he should have called a run and burned some clock. As for Feeley, yes it was a bad pass and I think he may not have even seen Samual back behind the WR...it almost looked like he was screened from the view I have seen.

    Andy Reid should be fired...

The bottom line is that Reid made a stupid game clock, game management, and playcall considering the situation. 1) You run the ball...or at the very least throw a high % pass not directed at the Pats best cover corner! You had two downs to get the first down and then 3 more to keep burning time while trying to score. 2) I understand that being aggressive got them to this point, but you still need to let the game situation dictate how you handle the next call. He should have been looking to run out the clock and at all cost not turn the ball over...period! Yes he still needs to score, but he can't risk losing his shot at the tie to get it. 3) The play call was just crazy given the fact that the Feely is a back-up for a reason...yes he had played good up to this point, but the reason he is a back-up is because he makes mistakes too often late in games! You can't put the ball in his hands to win or lose...you need to put it in Westbrook's hands. This one is a no brainer. Andy got excited and wasn't thinking clearly when he called this play. Westbook had just ripped off 7 yards on first down...I don't think he should have been thinking low % pass to the endzone here!
  4. The Eagles had overtime or a win in the bag and they decided to thow it away... Three and half minutes left...down three points. You march down the field to the 28 where a FG is basically automatic. It's second and three and the Patriots have not stopped your running game for the last two quarters. So what would you do? I am pretty sure given the situation I would run for two reasons. First, I am pretty sure with two tries I can get two yards...not a given, but good chance. In the mean time we get the game clock inside three minutes. If we get the first down, we then can run at least once more cutting the game clock to the two minute warning. All the while sitting in a spot where we can tie or win the game. The clock would be important to me as I would not want to give Brady any time to come back at me if possible. Reid...the pass happy loon that he is decides to throw the ball to the endzone with his back up QB who had already been picked twice on the day. He mis-reads the coverage and throws a lob ball into the waiting arms of the Pats BEST CB! What the heck was that? Thats just bad game management and that is the sort of thing that will and should get you fired in the NFL! Even if they score that TD...they would have given Brady 3 minutes to come back at them...kind of stupid I would think. Don't coaches think about this stuff.

Starting to see why A Peterson is running so hard

Money doesn't mean much to these guys...he's pissed about being passed over and doubted in the NFL draft! Make no mistake about it…it’s not revenge he’s after…it’s the reckoning! Bonus for whoever tells me what movie that is from???

    Did Addai practice today?

Would you drop Fred Taylor to grab him for just one week?
  7. FBIGUY

    Joseph Addai?

I am trying to get info and looking tobe the one who grabs the back-up in my league if he get's listed as out. Any word from the Colts practice?
  8. JOHNSON IS EXPECTED TO MISS FIVE WEEKS from PFT Although the injured knee of Texans receiver Andre Johnson is scheduled to be re-examined on Friday, the current scuttlebutt is that he'll miss five weeks. We're not saying he'll miss five weeks -- we're only saying that that's the scuttlebutt. (It's the same thing as Mort saying that his report about Eli Manning missing a month wasn't wrong because his sources truly thought he would miss a month, but in this case we're disclosing that fact before, not after, the story is proven to be wr-wr-wr-wr-bullcaacaa.) If he misses five weeks, he'll be back for the October 28 game at San Diego. I don't think any of this is set in stone yet, but this site is usually right with it's stuff! This would make Jacoby Jones and Owen Daniels more valuable for the next month or so! Although one could argue that this would kill the entire passing game! Your thoughts?

    Who are the Top5 WR's for 2007?

I love to do rankings But not this early in the off season. For me it doesn't matter too much anyhow since I NEVER TAKE A WR in the first three rounds. Even if I want to the guy I want never gets to me so I end up with middle of the road wide outs. Like Donald Driver last year. Who ended up top five! You just can not predict how WR's will produce from season to season.
