Vick/Andre Johnson for Roethlisberger/Chambers

Recommended Posts

I'm on the Vick/Johnson side.

McNabb is my starter at QB. Donald Driver, Isaac Bruce and Joe Horn are my other WRs.

I would wait. We sont know if Vick is going to have a break out season or not. We don't know if the Houston Line can get time to Carr throw to Johnson or whether Moulds can take heat off Johnson. And we don't know if Culpepper is the second coming in Miami or not--if he is Chambers is like God.

So wait it out at least till Sun Night and evaluate some more info anything else is a guess which could hurt you in mho.

For me, this comes down to Chambers vs Johnson (if you're depending on either of these QBs, you're hurting unless you're in a huge league). Even with Culpepper questions, I like having a guy playing for the fins (running game should do better than in week one, O-line is more stable) than for the Texans (even with S Gado in the mix at RB).

See mine:

Brady/Bledsoe/Pennington???

yeah, i would definitely wait on this. If its only a one week offer, I'd decline that. AJ looks to be a lot better off with Moulds on the other side, and I don't ahve a whole lot of faith in chambers.

Tough call here. I really think Chambers will have a very nice year, so I think I would do it, but you might want to go after a receiver in the same tier who has less question marks like Ward or Wayne.

Thanks for checking mine.

I'm with FierceMice: This comes down to Johnson vs. Chambers.

But, I actually think Chambers is going to have a great year. The main reason: Ronnie Brown, who'll force defenses to be honest against the run.

Also: Note that STL and NO have the same bye week, so you'll need two subs then (Week 7). Houston is at home vs. JAC that week (and I have visions of a horizontal David Carr dancing in my head), while MIA is at home vs. Green Bay.

Now, which defense would you rather have your #2 wideout playing against? :ninja:

I'd do the trade.

Thanks for helping with mine!

Given the info provided, I'd prefer to have Ben/Chambers on my roster.

Vick is, well, Vick. Ben is a solid backup to McNabb, and will improve as season progresses. McNabb's bye is week 9, and Ben should be rolling by then.

I wouldn't want ANY Texans on my roster, in all honesty. Chambers solidifies the WR corps, and I agree that he will have a really nice year.

My 2 cents. Thanks for your help with mine. Good luck!

100% agree with everything said here. No one is going to be worried about the texans running game. WR's will be up and down all year depending on how good the secondary their playing against is.

I like Ben/Chambers - Ben will pick it up and provide good numbers as a backup for McNabb, Vick is too much of a Q mark to this point and you never know with AJ and that Texans offense, while Chambers is much safer bet and I bet Culpepper will turn it around and get him the ball more as the season goes on.

I'd do this trade in a heartbeat. Ben/Vick - Ben is far more consistent and dependable. He will get his touch downs and he will limit turnovers.

Chambers/ Johnson - Chambers is the better reciever (IMO) on the better team with a better offense and quarterback.
