I think you will definitely have to give up Portis or Fitz to even sniff Peyton if the other owner has any experience whatsoever. We are talking Peyton here!!

Hmmm. I can't see how he'd make that Rivers/Taylor/Fitz for Peyton and Boldin trade. Unless he's REALLY new. 5 pt per throwing TD will make it hard to pry Peyton away.

 

First off, I have Manning. And those of us who have Manning used a #1 pick to get him. He shows no signs of disappointing so we'd need a #1 (Portis) to even begin the deal.

 

Secondly, you have a messy backfield at best. Even in a 12 team league. I love Taylor, have him as my #2 as well and you can trust him. He'll get a ton of carries. But Portis has the shoulder (although I think he'll be fine), the Bells split carries in a Shanahan nightmare and Droughns, uggg. I know it's one week, but 27 yards vs the Saints? I know he was a sexy steal candidate predraft, but I just didn't see it.

 

You'll have to get very creative or get him very drunk to make the move and keep Portis.
