lv_2_hack 0 Posted September 15, 2006 My team: RB: Caddy, R.Brown, FWP WR: Steve Smith, Stallworth, DJax, Housh 2 offers, T.O for Steve Smith or T.O. for Willie Parker or Frank Gore for Steve Smith. What about accepting the last two trades? Accepting T.O for FWP and Gore for Smith? Or should I wait on Steve until he gets healthy? I'm 0-1 even though I think my team's fairly solid. Tough matchup again this week. Thanks Will answer yours!

Tough matchup again this week. Thanks Will answer yours! At this point, I would trade Smith for TO. You are pretty solid at RB (assuming Caddy's injury does not linger), but your WR are all shaky. Smith's hamstring may linger all year; Stallworth may have blown his wad in week one, the acquisition of Branch shows that D Jax's knee injury will hinder him all year, and Hoosh is on the shelf yet again this week. The trade for TO gives you at least one healthy receiver (mental health aside).
dalie 2 Posted September 15, 2006 Do NOT do #2 alone that's for sure. I would usually say hold onto Smith but if injuries linger his value goes down and you lose a T.O. type WR in trades. I think T.O. is just as good as Smith (or close enough) to get him over Smith, and his injuries. So do the trade(s), #1 is good, if you do #2 you HAVE to get #3 done with it or you will loose due to weak RB corps. SHORT ANSWER: #1 good, #2 and #3 need to be LOCKED together for it to be good. preilly 0 Posted September 15, 2006 If you don't think it will cost you a playoff spot, I would stick with Smith, by the time the FF playoffs roll around, the hamstring will be forgotten. TO might not even be playing by the end of the season, smith will likely be back to his old self. check mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233361
