warner or hasselbeck

Recommended Posts

It would help if you posted a little more information. You might get more responses.

ok, well my team is in my sig line. definite starters:

Chester

CJ

ROY (or Steve Smith)

Ben Watson

Jeff Reed

Jax DEf

6 points for all TDs. 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving, 1 point for 20 yards passing. Penalties for interceptions.

Figure its a crap shoot with the QB's, either one could probably blow up, leaning towars Hasselbeck.

RB's not sure. Normally McGahee would be a no brainer. Tatum is starting, Mike Bell hurt his hand. Thinking if Tatum can do what he did last week with yardage and also throw in a TD, he'll be a fine start.

Especially against a weak KC def.

ANy thoughts?

My only suggestion is to play Williams if Smith can't go, and it sounds as if he won't. But Chicago will try and shut him up after he lipped off this week.

Go with Warner and McGahee. If all TD's are 6 pts, then Warner is a monster in your league because that offense somehow turned Edge into just another 70 yds, 1 TD guy they throw it so often. The Cards will be in another shootout, and he has all the weapons in the world. As for McGahee, if FWP ran against Miami, he will too.

On a different note, I'd start Matt Jones over your other #2 WR's. Smith is hurt and wont play, and Roy Williams made the mistake of talking smack about the Bears D. I'd be surprised if he has a catch this week lol. Good Luck.

Please see mine. Thanks in advance

Thanks for mine.

Hass or Warner seem equal to me but if M.Bell isn't gonna get as many touches this week you gotta go with Tatum. Watch the news and see what Denver plans on doing.

I'm taking your advise and going with T Bell, I think he will blow up this week...

yeah. Think I'm going with him as well.

I wouldn't start either Bell. Denver's gone full-blown RBBC and it's impossible to figure out who will get the bulk of the carries. (Don't listen to Skeletor.. if it looks like he's giving you information, he's really just trying to screw you)

I'm going with Warner this week over Bledsoe. Your decision is a bit closer, although I'd go with Old Man Warner until he stops throwing up 300/gm or gets hurt which everyone seems worried about.

At first I thought the qb situation was even. After taking into consideration the offensive lines and team speed on defense I think it's an easy choice: start Hasselbeck. The Seahawks 'o' line is ranked #4 according to Fox Sports. Even without Hutch they should allow Hasselbeck plenty of time to find the open receiver. They've got guys like defensive captain Lofa Tatupu and Julian Peterson (what were the 49ers thinking of letting their best player go?!) that will wreak havok on Warner. Warner will get his yards (250-275). The problem is that he will lose you some points with sacks and at least one turnover. You chose the right rbs (McGahee and Taylor). WRs are a bit mirky. Chad is the easy part. The difficult choice is between Roy, Smith and Jones. I liked Roy before he opened his mouth. Smith being questionable with a lingering hamstring injury is a risk. While I'm not one of those that think Jones will have a break out year, I believe he will put up respectable yardage (60-75yds) and one score vs the Steelers (especially with Polamalu questionable).

Thanks for answering mine.
