Who would you rather have a Warner's backup...?

I currently have Alex Smith as my backup QB but Culpepper is just sitting out there and its hard not to grab him....

Yes ... Culpepper's had a rough start, but there's more ultimate value in him than Smith.

that's hard, i think both of them will only get better.

 

smith is in a somehwat more pass happy division so he may get more opportunity as he will come from behind more also.

 

however culpepper is culpepper and he will probably improve as well. i think i would probably pick up culpepper for now if you don't think anyone will go after smith. then you can wait and see how things progress with hopefully the better guy on your bench.

 

if smith would be a hot commodity in your league though, i'd probably keep him.

 

i think daunte probably has more trade value though.
