just_want_2_win 0 Posted September 19, 2006 0-2, lowest scoring team in league I have the #1 pick on the waiver wire this week (not a re-draft) Roster: QBs: Bulger, Rivers (start 1) RBs: Tiki, Foster, Jordan, Barber III, Jacobs (2) WRs: Boldin, Evans, Moulds (2) TE: McMichael (1) K: Akers (1) DEF: Panthers, Colts (1) Ok, got lots of help on here yesterday so I am dropping Evans. Probably for Colston. But look at the others available on the WW: Alex Smith Cotchery Toomer Reggie Williams (Jax WR) Desmond Clark Greg Jennings Bernard Berrian I have tried trades off all sorts no one will do it right now. So I am dropping Colts, too. Who should I pick up in place of the Colts? Should I drop Moulds? Who for? Should I drop McMichael and try to get Clark? Although I have Rivers and Bulger, should I consider getting Smith? Not like Rivers or Bulger are lighting it up. And being that I have the #1 and probably all those listed above will be hot commodities, who should I go for with that very first pick?
Borat33 17 Posted September 19, 2006 I'd pick up Alex Smith. Your qb;s seem to be in offenses that like to run more. The Niners will be involved in alot of shootouts and smith will benefit.
paul revere 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Stay with Bulger. Pick up Desmond Clark at TE...he's a main target in their offense. I just picked up Cotchery myself. I'm thinking of starting him this week because the Jets can't run the ball at all. Pennington is throwing 35 times a game...literally. Reggie Williams looked good last night so he's an option as well. Start Bulger vs ARI Tiki and Foster (even though Deangelo is all over him) Boldin vs STL and Cotchery vs Buf McMike vs TEN Akers Panthers vs Chris Simms (dammit I was counting on Galloway this year)
kbtegp 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Im assuming this is a redraft league. My strategy would be to drop Barber, Jacobs and Rivers and pick up: Rivers Clark Cotchery Williams In that order. You dont have the depth at WR to drop one and Barber and Jacobs only play if there is an injury. Rivers = Smith at this point and Rivers on a bye. Tx for mine
WhoRide2002 0 Posted September 19, 2006 You have to get Cotchery. I think he is the real deal and the Jets have no running game to speak of, which means lots and lots of throwing. Get rid of Moulds. Don't drop the Colts, it's too early to start freaking out. start Bulger Tiki Foster Boldin Cotchery McMichael Panters
