manola 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I've got a shortage of starting RBs for this year, although I have a lot of really young talent. I'm thinking I should try to trade Bush OR Maroney for whatever I can get. We're in New England, so there's a chance people will like Maroney almost as much as Bush. What is reasonable to expect for one of these players? Thanks. I'll answer yours!
kbtegp 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I just had guy offer me Portis for Maroney and Braylon Edwards. I think Maroney may have more value going forward though. You need to ask yourself if getting that one RB is going to make a difference this year. If anything other than absolutely yes, I'd ride this year out and be set for years to come. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2708265
LTizzle2 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I think would keep them both if you could. Bush has different ways to score so I would try to keep him. Maroney looks great as well, but if the right deal comes along take it cause want to win it all cause thats what this thing is all about.

mdm_1971 0 Posted September 19, 2006 i have bush in one of my leagues and his value is great right now. I will not trade him unless somebody came up with a great deal. he will more then likely have around 65-70 receptions and throw in 7-800 yards recieving and rushing and you have a solid #1 running back..... as far as maroney i would not trade him either as he will get his time on the field and he is showing that he does well when he gets the ball.... he is just as good right now as a part time back as any # 2 runningback think about it how many people drafted droughns as a #1 or 2 and who would you rather have right now? I would stick with these guys.... does youre league give points per reception?
manola 0 Posted September 19, 2006 does youre league give points per reception? Thanks for the input. And yes, we do get 1 point per reception.
harrinjj22 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I would stick with both of those guys if it is a dynasty league. I am in a keeper league and getting some offers for Bush, but I won't do it. I think he will be a stud who will lead your team in the next couple of years.
Phlebber 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I wouldn't trade Bush right now. He is looking extremely good and will give you starter quality numbers. I like Maroney too. Like the person asked above, what do you think you could get for them? Portis or Dunn is probably what I'd shoot for. Phlebber
