Bearshopeful 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Williams is still FA in my league and had a great game and looks good. Foster is still named starter but has historically not put up huge numbers. Here are my other RBs QB and WR is set. E. James F. Gore T. Bell M. Bell D. Foster What would you do? Pick up Williams and drop Foster (or another back) or stay put? TheGerm 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Do you have an extra K or D on your roster? If so, dump them and pickup Deangelo.
Bearshopeful 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Nope, 1 K, and 1 Def. I'll cross the BYE bridge when I come to it.
rush77 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Since your thinking of dropping him anyway, I'd see if you can get anything out of him on a trade first. Perhaps package him with a #3WR in return for a #2. Look at the other teams in your league and see who is weakest at RB, and take a trade offer to them. If you end up having to dump Foster to get Williams, I think I would it. He wasn't a starter for you anyway, and Williams has way more upside. Thanks for answering mine.
J5 0 Posted September 21, 2006 As always I agree that you should try and trade him first, bust I think you should definitely pick up Williams.
Bigunreal1 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Like the others have said, try to trade first, but if you can't, I'd definitely rather have Williams. You also might see what you could get for M.Bell- who I think will fizzle out and not be a factor in Denver.
mcstl25 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Pick up Williams and get rid of M. Bell. He will never be the starter in Denver, but Williams has a great chance to be the number one guy in Carolina.
irish2007 0 Posted September 21, 2006 i agree with getting rid of mike bell. tatum may have found his way out shanahan's doghouse and into the starting role. williams will be starting much sooner than people think and if you can get rid of foster, you might explore your options. i just traded him straight up in a league for roy williams.
