Tatum Bell Trade Advice

I am in a 1 pt per rec league, and I have been offered two trade proposals from teams who desperately need RBs. My QBs are Favre and Pennington, while my RBs are Westbrook, CTaylor, Gore, TBell, Addai, Maurice Morris. I have been offered two deals.

 

Bell and Favre for Matt Hasselbeck

or

Bell and Roy Williams for Chad Johnson and Greg Jennings

 

Which would help me more?

The first offer seems like the best one. Get rid of Favre while his value is still high! Trust me, it will plummet soon enough.

With those options, i would keep my team as is. Favre is still slinging and throwing for tons of yardage and T. Bell has a lot of upside now that he is taking over the majority of the carries.

i'd pull the second trade with CJ. that to me looks like it would upgrade your receivers greatly, plus you have a little depth at rb. CJ is being shopped around b/c he had a bad week against a great d. i'd buy low now and reap the benefits later.

I sat C.Johnson this last week.. Ike Taylor has a reputation for shutting down Chad.. and it happened again..

But really.. C.Johnson puts up consistant numbers

I think Favre has had an amazing couple of weeks, and it won't continue all season. You have PLENTY of depth at RB, so losing TBell wouldn't hurt you.

 

With the addition of Branch, Hasselbeck looks to have an outstanding season. I'd go with the first trade.

Close call but I'd get Hass. He is a big upgrade over the fragile Pennington and Favre (especially is you lose pts for turnovers). Plus, he should be throwing as much as he did vs NY with Alexander out. And have you seen his schedule? I expect a Top 5 QB the rest of the season!

Couldn't agree more. Besides Hasselbeck and Favre are practically equals as Favre will continue to play from behind all season. You got RB depth and Jennings / Johnson have good potential for you.
