ppr league...current WR are Harrison, Driver, AJ, Hines, Branch, Rod Smith...

 

have considered countering with AJ and Delhomme instead (he needs QB, I need to drop Delhomme for a D).

ask him about the driver/delhomme deal and see if he bites, if not, take the boldin one. he gets more receptions, and is a bigger threat than driver. you can't lose.

I don't know about Boldin being better in this deal. GB will be behind a lot and Driver is the man in GB. Boldin splits with Fitz, plus (though it pains me to say as a Warner owner) it could be a matter of time before the rookie gets the call and both AZ WRs will take a little hit during his learning curve.

Driver looks good so far this year. I'd try the counter offer first, with Delhomme and AJ.

Counter first with AJ/Jake, then fall back on Driver for Boldin. I love Driver, but Boldin can be even more amazing.

I would probably try and offer AJ and Delhomme first(I think Delhomme is actually gonna blow up now that Smith is back) and if he doesn't bite i'd still do Driver for Boldin.

I'd go with the AJ/Delhomme counter offer.. not a big fan of giving up a bonafide #1 (albeit on a bad team) for a guy who will be fighting for catches with Fitzgerald (and with a stud RB to deal with on top of it)... I tend to shy away from RB's on losing teams, but have no problem with WR's on those same teams..... so I would not make the original deal, but would do the counter.....

Don't get hooked on the 1 game wonder. He caught a 75 yarder and I think only a total of 2 or 3 passes, A vet likes his vet.

get Boldin. hes better than Driver. depending on who your starting QB is, does dealing delhomme really make sense? he should be big again with smith back. i think either of these trades could make sense for you, but which one is not as clear cut to me. depends on your QB situation.

My starting QB is McNabb...he and Delhomme both have a week 9 bye...was thinking of dropping Jake anyways as I need to clear two roster spots. I want PIT for the stretch run (dropped this week) because they have a favorable schedule the last 8 weeks or so...and I will need to pick up another D for wk 4 -- probably JAX. Thus need to clear two roster spots...
