sb2232 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I have been offered T. Bell and L. Jordan for Alexander. Should I pull the trigger on this? I am 2-1 and as you can see with my roster I am hurting at running back depth. I know SA is supposedly healing quickly, but if he is out much longer than a few weeks I might be out of playoff contention. Knowing Jordan's relatively easy schedule and Tatum's apparent emergence as the clear cut #1 RB in Denver, should I make this deal? I absoulutely do not see how this could be a good deal for the other owner . . . he is 0-3, and needs wins now rather than weeks in the future.
gixxer6 0 Posted September 29, 2006 That trade makes me look like im robbing the other guy blind with my alexander trade (K. Jones) Awesome deal for you... a 2 for 1 on starting RBs is always good
TheHolmes 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I would say in most cases I wouldn't do it, but you are not too deap at RB. This gives you some depth but you do take on 2 risks. Jordan is a risk obviously, but Tatum hasn't shown if he can carry a full load all year. But Alexander is also a question mark for the season, this might linger, reaggrivate it, etc. So with all this said, I think you pull the trigger if you are willing to roll the dice. At worst you are getting a huge upgrade for the next 3 or 4 weeks.

It is always tough to trade someone like Alexander, but in your case, I think you need to do this trade in order to stay competitive for a play-off spot. jsilec 0 Posted September 29, 2006 guy is 0-3 and offering his 2 rbs for a rb injured....i think he is making a huge mistake.....i would take this trade and ride those guys and maybe bush becomes the guy later in the season so you have 1 more option ...giving up alexander is tough but you will be staying competitive while he rehabs ...good luk with your situation
