Randy Moss on WW

Recommended Posts

Some person dropped Randy Moss. I don't know why, but I guess s/he wasn't a believer. Should I take the risk of getting him? I'm sure I'm not the only one that will try to get him though, so I'm not sure if it's even worth trying. Who should I drop to pick him up? The ones I'm willing to get rid of are Marques Colston and the Chargers DST.

Im thinking Colston is the one to drop, but I'm not sure if I should seeing that Randy Moss could be unprudctive like last year. So, should I drop Colston who could be the next big thing, or drop the Chargers D, the secondary that has had trouble in the past? Or should I just not pick up Moss at all? My WRs are pretty much locked so I'm not really lacking anything but a 2nd RB (I have KJones, EWWW)

I always put more value on offensive players than a DST. I play the wavier wire and look for matches up DST from week to week. Last year I got a lot of good help here to do just that and my DST points were just as good as past years when I tried to pick a top 3 or 4 DST. So I would hesitate against letting Colston go. I have him on my roster and a couple of more good weeks he might be a good tool to sweeten a trade. I am not sure Moss is going to have any better of a year than last year and he doesn't have as capable of QB throwing to him as Colston has, at least from what I have seen so far this year. All that said if I wanted Moss, which I think I would, I'd drop the Chargers DST, especially if they just are your Bench DST. You can at least keep the two WR until your starting DST goes on a bye week and maybe trade or drop one and pick up a DST from the wire. Its a lot easier to trade an Offensive player than a DST, at least in my league.

Thanks for mine.
