bobpate17 0 Posted October 5, 2006 My team is in my sign. I drafted warner and Brooks and they both screwed me. I dropped them both and picked up kitna two days ago. Someone just dropped Plummer. Is he worth picking up and droping Kitna?? Will plummer be back of is he gon suck rest of the season as he did in last three games? One more Question. I am thinking about offering trade. Gore/Driver for SA or Gore/Wayne for SA. who should I offer? is this good trade? I still have TO and stallworth left and gabrial is still on WW.
Wheaties 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Stick it out with Jon Kitna. He is on the rise in the Martz offense. Plummer might not be starting at all in a few weeks... plus that is a run oriented offense. They are not going to turn to a rookie QB if they want to make another run at the superbowl. Javon Walker is coming on and their running game will always be solid. The Lions are going nowhere. All they have is Roy Williams and it won't be long until he gets double teamed. Good luck! tiger99 0 Posted October 5, 2006 if you have no other qb other kitna... plummer is a good backup. you could always play a matchup game week to week between plummer and kitna. i dont think shanahan is going to pull plummer in favor of cutler. this year is plummer's year to play and for cutler to learn from the sidelines. Next year will be a different story...
kingtiger 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Plummer always starts slow. Shanny loves Cutler but knows that the season would have to be lost before he can put him in - and with a win over NE the clock has been reset on Plummer. He'll be an OK backup over the long term, but I would not put him in for the Baltimore game. If you had Warner and Brooks, did you drop both? If so can you keep both Plummer and Kitna until someone better becomes available? I'd start Kitna this week and Plummer thereafter...
Hey U Guys 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Stick with Kitna most definetly they have been scoring alot and Plummer is going agains t baltimore's D so definitley dont start Plummer this week. MBison 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I would say pick up Plummer and keep Kitna as well and play matchups (ie: Plummer next week vs. Oakland). But you don't seem to have the roster space. What about packaging Gore for a QB instead of Shaun, who's still a mystery on how well he'll do when he comes back.
chiz3 1 Posted October 5, 2006 I like Kitna. I liked him at the draft.
dalie 2 Posted October 5, 2006 I like Plummer, I think he should come around. Gore/Driver for SA could be good but also like idea of Gore package for QB (Delhomme?) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241247
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Kitna is your man...the offense is coming around and their defense stinks...playing a lot of catch up which means pass, pass, and pass. Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241286
Hoos 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I like Kitna. They're definitely starting to throw more. Worst-case they are playing from behind and he'll have to air it out. Broncos are going to pound the ball and play a lot of low-scoring games. If you really want Alexander I'd offer Gore alone. SA will miss at least one more game and who knows what will happen to that foot when he comes back.
PaintGuru 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I say Kitna. Agree, start at Gore for SA straight up and see if the owner bites. You can always add more later.
Grizzly 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I think Plummer will be fine the rest of the year. I don't think Kitna will be all that bad but at the end of the year I think Plummer will have better numbers. I would not trade for SA. But if you really want him Gore-SA might work. thanks for answering Mine......
ffsmack 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I think Plummer will be better for the year as well, but this week is Kitna all the way. If you pull off a trade, you could use that extra spot to hold a backup QB. If you do decide to trade one of your WRs, I would say Driver since I would want to keep one of Peyton's weapons. Thanks for mine
