need help with Trade.

Recommended Posts

One guy in my league just posted that he is willing to trade hassellback with any his WR and RB if he has been offered good deal.

my team is in my sign. His team is as follow

A. smith, Hassellback

R. moss, Chamber, Walker

EDJ,K jones, caddy,T. jones

E. Johnson (TE)

I need better qb so I m thinking about offering Gore/Kitna for Caddy/Hassellback or T. Jones/Hasselback.

Which one should I offer? is it worth offering?

thanks for your help.

TO be honest....I'm not sure I'd make that trade. I think Kitna will continue to improve as he gets a better grasp of Martz's offensive aerial gameplan. If you look at Kitna's stats, they are getting better and better each game and you figure since KJones and the run offense is mediocre at best, then DET will be playing from behind a bunch and hence more opps for passing.

And on top of that....I don't know if what he's offering is an upgrade over really what you got! Once Alexander comes back, Hasselback's throws and chances for FFL points dwindle. Plus they play in a weak division, which means even more running and time consumption.

Moss can't do anything until OAK fixes their offense (gets a QB)

Alex Smith is okay but still a little young - you may get a few points out of him, but nothing more than Kitna would bring you.

Chambers - see Moss

Javon Walker is about as good as his corpse is, and IMO, I think that;s a stretch because I've never been sold on Plummer and that ridiculous naked bootleg play action stuff he does 20x a game.

I'd say stay with what you got!!

BTW....here's my question: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241664

Out of both of the trades you were thinking of the second one is alot better. I have Caddy in my league and hes been a big disapointment so far :/

I like Hasselback and the schedule gets easier for him. Gore has upside over Caddy and Jones but it's a fair price to pay for the upgrade at QB. Caddy vs. T. Jones? I like what Chicago's offense is doing and TB is terrible so I would go with Jones. I just don't know if Benson will steal carries down the road. In my league Hasselback is going for a premium so I would make the deal now!

As much as I like Hass, I'd stay put. YOu have a nice core of RB and receivers with Kitna being a solid QB. YOu figure Detroit will be down most of the year meaning more pass. Hass has good first 1/2s then they are usually up a good amount and feed alexander.

Gore/Kitna for Jones/Hasselbeck would be a great deal. You'd be getting an upgrade at both positions because Gore is on the decline and Jones is on the up. Hasselbeck is going to be great this season now that he has 4 recievers and no RB, that will eventually change of course but even so he'll still be putting up great numbers. Chances are though that he would never go for it, I know I wouldn't. Getting Caddy would still be tough but doable. If so, I'd still take it cause Hasselbeck alone is a huge upgrade and Caddy will eventually even out as the seasons goes and wouldn't be a starter for you anyway. Do it.
