Shocker 0 Posted October 9, 2006 I am sucking this year 1-4! I have been offered the Steelers D + Deon Branch ofr the Ravens D, I am not taking this because it won't help me and I need points NOW. But this guy really wants the Ravens D, I was thinking of tring to package the Ravens D with a medocore WR or RB for the Steelers D + Fitzgereld or Ronnie Brown? What do you all think?? hagler 0 Posted October 9, 2006 Trade the Defense if you can get Steelers D and a better player--- Check the schedules and see the matchups for the end of the year and playoff run--- There's always Defenses available to pick up for one week matchups, anyway--- Plus, Defense and kicker are the two biggest crapshoot positions on a fantasy team! Steelers are usually a good D, even they went FUBAR on me last night...but you'll definately take a hit in the Defense department, so you'd better get something that's worth that big of a hit. I'm talking a couple TDs worth. Is Ronnie Brown that guy? Frankly, I doubt it. He runs too hot and cold but if you've got some depth to play during his really tough matchups (Chicago, New England, Jacksonville, etc...). If you can get someone to take Branch off your hands too that would be an upside, I've got him, haven't played him yet because he fluctuates too much. If he was in almost every play, he'd be money, but he doesn't, so he's not. If any DST could get you a decent upgrade at other positions it's Baltimore (and Chicago). So if you can get something worth it (especially at 1-4) then by all means. But personally, I don't think Ronnie Brown will help that much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
