QB help?

Hello,

 

I am fading fast in my league, and have been struggling in the QB department.

 

I currently have Brady, Delhomme, and Rivers ... and am puzzled for this week, as well as long term.

 

My league can only play 1 QB at a time, so having 3 roster spots might be too much. I think I need to drop one, to add a defence for baltimore's bye.

 

Also (as a side note) leftwich is available this week too.

 

I am leaning towards picking up Leftwich (has 2 favorable starts against Houston)

 

Rivers might not be consistent yet, but he has weapons and is throwing more.

Brady doesn't have much help, outside of his RBs.

Delhomme seems to be coming on.

 

So, I think I might go with Leftwich and Delhomme and drop the other two.

 

What does everyone think? (sorry for the long post)

I think you are overthinking things a bit. You're right in that you don't need 3 QB's, and I'd keep Rivers just because he has more talent around him, but try to trade Brady for an area you may need some help with. You'd probably get a little more value out of him on name value alone.

Thanks for answering mine.

 

Like sturbo said, I'd definitely try and trade for Brady. I'm sure there is some NE homer out there that would undoubetdly trade for Brady (giving up too much in return) in a second.

 

Also, I like Delhomme over Rivers. Although Rivers has talent, I think their schedule strength picks up in the coming weeks and we really haven't seen Rivers play from behind.

 

I like Delhomme.....he's starting to find his niche and having Smith back sure doesn't hurt.

 

Delhomme > Rivers > dump the rest.
