Would you do this trade?

Recommended Posts

Give up Maroney for Javon Walker? My RBs are Tomlinson, W. Parker and K. Jones, and I can probably get J. Norwood on waiver, while my receivers are Harrison, Housh and B. Edwards. We start 2 of each. Would appreciate any input, thanks!

This isn't exactly a blockbuster trade. Maroney had a couple of great weeks, but he's been quiet lately. Walker has been the victim of a pretty lack lusted Denver passing game. He's coming off his best week.

I don't think you would start either player. All your wr byes are over.

It's not a bad deal. I would probably hold on to Maroney until he has a good week and then try to trade him for someone better.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply.

I'd do this trade. Your RBs are pretty much set, and Dillon looks like he's set to a 3rd down/goaline back. Maroney will have a couple of games here and there, but I think Javon Walker looks better than Braylon as a back-up WR.

Thanks for mine.

I agree with the majority. I don't like trading RBs for WRs but you are pretty solid at RB. I like Walker to get more down the road. I'd make the trade.

I wouldn't give up Moroney for Javon Walker because, since you only need to start 2 WR's, you don't need another WR. I see you starting Harrison and Housh every week from now on and both have had their byes already. However, if Corey Dillon gets hurt, you're sitting good with Moroney. RB's get hurt way more often so it's always better to have spares.
