Should I OK this Trade? Need QB/DEF...have plenty of WR/RB

I have a pretty good team and am currently 5-2-1 (5 wins, 2 losses, and a tie). I am looking to improve myself before our leagues trade deadline and before the playoffs. My only weakness that I see is on DEF and my QB's. But I have an abundance of WR's so I would rather part with one of them to improve another part of my team.

 

The other team that I want to trade with is eyeing either Steve Smith, M. Harrison, or S. Jackson. One of them and a second player. I really dont want to give up Jackson as he is the heart of my RB's. Parting with one of my WR's wouldn't hurt as much.

 

I want Grossman and his DEN Defense. I like Grossman because he has a nice matchup going into the end of the season.

 

Should I make a trade like this?

Thanks for the input. I would try to move Harrison, because of the possibility that Indy locks up home-field advantage early and he plays little the last couple of weeks. But, this could happen with Grossman as well, so I would try and target Carson. Not sure if Denver's D is better than the Giants, but I would try to get a second defense and play matchups. I'd also try and sell high on Ahman Green (just don't see him performing at a high level all year). Also, get rid of Leinart. Rookie QBs just aren't solid fantasy contributors...

Grossmans got plenty of tough matchups ahead of him, and you should be just fine with Favre. The Giants D has been doing very good since their buy week so I don't see why you'd wanna get rid of them.
