ROY for Stallworth/Betts

My RBs are not the strongest, but I am trying to improve my team for the stretch run/playoffs.

 

My team:

QB: Bulger, Favre

RB: R.Brown,Dillon,Betts,A.Thomas,Lundy,Turner

WR:Holt,Driver,Stallworth,Branch

K: Kaeding

D: BALT

 

I have been offered Roy Williams for Betts and Stallworth.

1. How much of an upgrade is Williams over Stallworth?

2. Now Portis is out, so Betts may become a starter over Dillon for me.

Roy is an upgrade over Stallworth. Betts and Dillon are equal. At the least I would wait one week to see what Betts' role is. If your deadline is this week then I would make the trade.

Your right, it Stallworth is health he is right there with Williams. Decline the trade and cross your fingers Stallworth does not get hurt the rest of the year

I'd go ahead and make that deal. Dillon will just get more carries as the weather gets colder in NE so he's fine for your RB2. Roy Williams is a stud.

If he'll agree to either of your counter offers, I'd do it immediately. Williams has been much more reliable and consistent than Stallworth (who always seems to have injury issues). In the 6 games (excluding his bye week) prior to last week, Stallworth either didn't play or posted low numbers. You'd be upgrading a lot at WR and not losing much, if anything, at RB. I believe either Stallworth or Branch, and either Lundy or Betts, for Williams is a good trade for you. Neither Betts nor Lundy is better than what you already have at RB, and R. Williams is better than either Stallworth or Branch.

I would say Williams is a definite upgrade over Stall for 2 big reasons. Detroit will have to throw alot as they will be behind alot and Stall is injury prone. Now Stall healthy is almsot as good as Roy so giving up Betts too may be too much. Betts has been solid and if u are in a PPR league he could be huge. Problem is we have to wait and see as who knows how bad Washington could look this week with 2 brand new skill players starting. If u can make the other 2 counters u mentioned I would do those right away. Betts may wind up being better then dillon as I have both on my team as well.
