hawkvike 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Please give your reason why you would choose McGahee or Betts. Also, who would you start at WR4 Chris Henry (@Oak) or Arnaz Battle (@GB)...normally I would go with Henry, but he has a terrible match-up and Battle has a great match-up. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me...post yours and I WILL answer.
mikestantonsux 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Both Betts and McGahee are good starts. Washington has been committed to the run and PHI has been awful against the run lately. Betts should get 100 yds and 1 TD. McGahee against the Jets, McGahee is more hit or miss right now. McGahee should get 110 yds but he may not score a TD. I'd go with Betts by a nose. I'd go with Chris Henry against OAK. He is a better WR than Battle and OAK doesn't scare me. They will concentrate on TJ and CJ.
CrimKing 0 Posted December 6, 2006 The phillly isnt the best run D and they have showed that on national tv 2 week in a row. He will get pretty much all of the carries, I dont think Duckett will get goaline carries only to spell. Willis does go up against a bad run D as well in the jets who gave up a lot to ahman green on not many carries So I would go with Ladel Betts Barely in this one. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257906
nmesaga 0 Posted December 6, 2006 im going with mcgahee over betts myself this week. even though betts put a nice number last week. buffalo is going a weaker defense than redskins are. philly stepped up their run defense against carolina monday night. Lando 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I think you have to go with McGahee here. When the game is on the line, I am more confident with McGahee than Betts. After last week, I think teams are going to make J. Cambell beat them and shut down Betts. I acually like henry this week. The oakland pass def is solid, but there are not many teams that have the depth to cover Henry man to man, he is too talented. Lets not forget that playing conditions last thurs were not ideal and Carson actually targeted Henry in the endzone, but over threw him Here is mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php? hawkvike 0 Posted December 7, 2006 Bump...what do you guys think now...looks like McGahee has an ankle injury on top of his rib injury and is questionable. Sounds like he is going to play, but I'm worried about A-train taking some carries...starting to lean towards Betts. Also, am I crazy for thinking about starting Battle over Henry? I love the GB match-up. Thanks...again post yours and I will answer. Somebody above left a link to the index page, so I was unable to find your question. swede2000 0 Posted December 7, 2006 Betts - they will use him quite a bit to take pressure of Campbell. Battle - should be a shootout against GB. Good luck and thanks for answering mine!
pimptastic69 0 Posted December 7, 2006 Doesn't McGahee have ankle issues? I read he was in a boot this week. I think I'd go with Betts. Henry is a tough one. I think he will be either 2 catches for 100 and a TD, or 1 catch for 5 yards. He is still the #3 option. I see the Bengals running alot more this week. I'd go with Battle. Little help please. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=258252
keystone09 0 Posted December 7, 2006 I'd have to go with betts based Mcgahee's inconsistency when it comes to fantasy, and philly inability to stop the run. As for WR, i'd go with Henry. I think oakland's tough pass D will focus there attention on Chad and TJ.
bruin1 0 Posted December 7, 2006 I'm going with Betts and CHenry. DWilliams lit up the Eagles on Monday, and I think the Jets DS will be tough for McGahee to run on as they are starting to get better. Definitely Henry becuase there are just too many options on the Bengals to stop them all. Good Luck and thanks for help on mine!
GOBOLTS! 0 Posted December 7, 2006 Betts over Mcgahee. Wash will commit to the run and everytime I've trusted MCG he's been a bust, and I like Henry, he always gets looks in the red zone and TJ and Chad will get most of the attention Good luck
dd2005 0 Posted December 7, 2006 I would start Betts over McGahee - he should be good for one score against iffy PHI run D and McGahee has a hurt ankle + bruised ribs so who know how many carries he will get? Battle over Henry for sure - OAk has excellent pass D and GB has awful pass D. thanks for mine.
