Jamal Lewis, Addai, or Tatum & Chambers, Cotchery, or Matt Jones

Recommended Posts

I've got some great matchups this week. Already starting Rudi against Indy:

Here are my RB choices for #2:

1. Lewis vs. Cleveland (I have him in my starting lineup since he is a shoein to carry the ball 20+)

2. Addai vs. Cincy (Banged up last week plus he still is splitting carries so he is most likely a No for me this week)

3. Tatum Bell at Arizona (Huge upside, but his injury proneness has screwed me more than once. I cannot afford for him to tweak something in the 1st quarter and sit the rest of the game)

4. Ladell Betts at New Orleans (This waiver gem is a definite consideration)

Here are my WR choices for #3 (Already have CJ and Javon penciled in at 1 and 2)

1. Cotchery at Minnesota (Hit or miss, but I like the fact that they should be playing catch up against a not so great pass defense)

2. Chambers at Buffalo (This guy continues to disappoint me big time. Not sure if I could stomach a one point game from this clown and have it cost me a playoff game. Plus the wind blows big time in Buffalo)

3. Matt Jones at Tennessee (This guy rides my bench, but this match up intrigues me)

Please give me some insight. As you can see, I pretty much have my mind made up but I always like to hear other opinions. Please leave me a link to your question, and I'll be sure to answer it.

Thanks

I would definitely go with Lewis as your RB and probably Cotchery - I dont think MAtt JOnes will do a lot as the Jags will try to run the ball 60 times and I think Miami also try to run on Buffalo's D and their passing game is still suspect IMO

At RB I'd go with Lewis at RB. He should get at least 90 yards and a TD.

At WR I'd go with Crotchery. I'd trust Pennington more than Garrard.

I happen to be a Cleveland homer and i'd have to suggest going with Lewis...we couldn't stop Parker last week and our defense is so banged up I could see Jamal going crazy as well. Bell and Betts are both good starts but as far as TD potential, Lewis should be the man.

Out of the 3 receivers, i'd agree Cotchery is the best choice with Chambers 2 if Joey would ever throw him the ball.

Wow tough ones here. Def go with Rudi. It is hard to sit Lewis with a matchup like that. I think u have to go with him. But I do like Betts however Wash will be losing and have to throw alot so if you dont get points for receptions then Lewis is an easy start. Otherwise Betts may be in a close race with Lewis if u do get PPR.

I would not start Jones for sure. Chambers has been too eratic as well. Cotchery is your best play here by far and I wish I had him in my lineup this week as I almost traded for him. DANG!!

Good luck

I like Lewis and Betts at RB. I expect the Ravens to jump out to an early lead and pound the ball. The Redskins will probably be playing catch up to the Saints, so running yds will be harder to come by. So I'd lean toward Lewis as the safer bet of the two.

At WR, I agree that your best bet is Cotchery.

Thanks for helping with mine.

I agree with the last post...Lewis and Betts, with Cotchery, although I still think Chambers is due for a breakout game any day now.

Quick question: I have to choose two from the following: Willie Parker v. Carolina; Brian Westbrook v. NYG; Rudi Johnson v. Indy. I'm already playing Rudi for sure, but who would you choose b/t Parker and Westbrook?
