bigpoly60 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Leinart or Grossman? J. Lewis, T. Henry, R. Droughns, or M. Barber? To go along with GORE. Leave link to yours and I'll respond.
statman 0 Posted December 13, 2006 based on matchups, Grossman is the better play. But can you trust him? At RB, I don't think Henry is a go this week, but check his status. He has a poor matchup anyway. Droughns also has a terrible matchup. J.Lew or M.Barber are your only real choices here. Lewis is the safer pick, but Barber could score a couple of times. thanks for mine.
veebs4 2 Posted December 13, 2006 I'd say Grossman, then hold my breath and hope I don't puke too much in my mouth. If you're feeling lucky (read RISKY), put in MBIII. If your lineup has too much risk as it is, go Jamal. Considering your QB situation, I would probably go Jamal. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=259646
BigDaddy1978 0 Posted December 14, 2006 It's a gamble either way, but I'd have to go with Grossman, who APPEARS to have finally removed his head from his ass. Plus the Buccs defense has not been playing particularly well this year. As long as Rex doesn't try going up top on Ronde, they should be alright. As for RBs, it's either Jamal who is as inconsistant as they come, or MBIII who has some 13 TDs already this year, and going against a Philly Defense that has NOT been good against the run. I'd say go with Barber.
dragon slayer 0 Posted December 14, 2006 I agree that Grossman is the better play. He showed that he could perform agains weak D's (Rams) and the Buc's aren't all that strong on D this year. As far as running back you gotta go Lewis, he loves torching the Browns. Good Luck & thanks.
Brown Growler 0 Posted December 14, 2006 I would say that Grossman has the much better matchup, but Leinart may be safer as Grossman has only had one game to prove he is not blind out there.... he is risky. I would go with Lewis for your back, less risk. Barber is very risky, especially not that you are in the playoffs Thanks
resser2 0 Posted December 14, 2006 Best of luck, Grossman - should be ok, and I like Lewis he should have a good game this week. Thanks for mine
Groundhog 24 Posted December 14, 2006 As a former owner of Evil Rex, I would say go with Leinart here. Rex also had a supposedly fantastic matchup with the Vikes two weeks and ###### the bed. One decent week vs. the Rams does not transform me into a believer. With Leinart, Champ Bailey is probably going to shut down Boldin, but then you still have Fitzgerald and BJohnson for him to throw to, and if Denver gets ahead the Cards will be throwing a lot. On the RBs, I would go with Lewis. Henry has a terrible matchup with the Jags; Droughns just plain sucks; and Barber's value really seems to depend on whether they get into goal-line situations which is impossible to predict.
