Philip Rivers

Steve McNair

 

1st round of playoffs - previous champ - would like to get a matching trophy!

 

Defense - Green Bay, New Orleans, Pittsburgh

At quarterback I'd say Rivers. There should be points galore in that game. The way both running backs can run the ball, some one-on-one matchups are gonna happen somewhere.

 

At defense I would use Pittsburgh I think. Not sure on the situation at quarterback for Carolina but if Weinke starts again I would for sure go that route.

I think i would have to go with Rivers too. All teams should box up and let Rivers try to beat them rather than LT. He has the talent to do it esp. againts the Chiefs.

 

Im probably going against everyone here but i would say i would start the Packers Def against the Lions. Kitna hasnt been spectacular as of late and with no Kevin Jones i dont see Detriot with the ball that much.

I'd start Rivers, of those three. He has a better supporting cast than Young, and I have a feeling McNair's team will be up early so he won't have to throw much.

 

I like Pitt's D this week.
