QB and RB issues

I have Garrard, Grossman, and Harrington. I need to play 1 and I am leaning towards Grossman.

 

At RB, I have T Jones, Caddy, and Cedric Houston. I am already starting Edge and need to pick one more. But with Jones' injury and Benson up his a#@, I'm leaning towards Caddy. Cadillac sounds even better now that I hear a few of the Bears D-linesmen are in jail.

Unless the rest of your team is solid, I'd shy away from Grossman. He's unpredictable. Of the three, I'd pick Harrington .

 

That's a good call on Caddy considering the Bears' woes. Considering the alternatives, I'd go with him.

Your biggest concern should be between Henry and Colston. If Colston is ready to go, go with him. If not, I think your best bet is Chris Henry in the shootout of all shootouts.

That DAMN Henry has been burning me all year. I do like your thoughts on this potential shootout, but I quite positive that Colston is going to play. Do you think I sit Plex for Henry, maybe? Thanks.

If Colston plays, you're gold. Colston, Burress, Driver is tough to beat for a WR trio.

Are you guys smoking crack??? Caddy has been terrible this year and he faces one of the leagues top rushing defenses! Who cares if they have one defensive lineman hurting and a few insignificant others? They're going to kill Tampa Bay and force them to pass the entire game...you'd be better off starting no one in fear of negative yardage or fumbles....just my two cents....you've got better options....for QB I'd check the weather in Buffalo and if it looks alright I'd go with Harrington...

I agree Caddy is garbage, but who else can he start? I'd see who was available on the wire with such a tough choice.

If he still has the waiver wire available, which I doubt since there was a game last night, I'd look there first. If not, I'd almost have to start Houston with the chance that he'd pick up a short yardage touchdown....I know Minnesota has the league's #1 rush D...but they don't have the balance that the Bears have in being able to stop the run and the pass....sure they've given up a few 100 yd. rushers this year....but they were all against decent teams....Caddy couldn't run on Atlanta last week, and you have to factor in his recent fumbilitis!!!.....Plus the Jets offense is much improved and Houston has scored 3 TD's the last 3 games....I like his odds better.

I'm basing my answer on the fact that the Bears would be stupid to play Jones this week and risk further injury...they've already clinched their division and homefield advantage....I'd be really surprised if he played...But weirder sh*t has happened...just pay attention 1 hour before gametime when they make it official...if he plays you almost have to go w/ him....but don't get your hopes up

I'm pretty much ruling him out. Problem is this --> is a T Jones splitting carries or getting limited carries due to injury better than a Garbage Caddy against the No. 1 D or a C Houston against the No 1 Run D?

 

What's your thoughts on the QB situation?

Just checked the WW and found a possible GEM! Arlen Harris for Detroit is looking to take over for Kevin Jones. He may be a better play then all the rest, including Thomas Jones, because of his matchup.

Rock and Hard Place...I'd go with the one who's been scoring TD's lately (you know he's gonna get the ball inside the 5)...that's Houston if you didn't know...I dropped Caddy about 8 weeks ago for being so awful....and I would seriously think about playing someone splitting carries ahead of him...

 

....but probably not Jones cause he's probably not playing

Does anyone else have some last minute info? I'm still torn about TJones. If he plays I'm not sure if I start him or I play Harris (Detroit Rb filling in for KJones).
