katfile 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Kinda sounds crazy but I am leaning towards starting RON DAYNE vs COLTS (#32 against run) at home instead of SHAUN ALEXANDER vs BOLTS (#6 against run) at home as well. Am I taking too much of a risk here? Bolts are playing for home field advantage and are better ranked defense the COLTS vanilla defense against run? My other back is GORE vs Cards. My lineup: QB M. Vick RB F. Gore RB R. Dayne OR S. ALEXANDER WR M. Clayton WR J. Walker WR B. Berrian PK M. Nugent Def Packers Team I am playing against: QB A. Smith RB L. Tomlinson RB L. Betts WR A. Boldin WR K. Johnson TE J. Shockey PK L. Tynes Def Dolphins Should I roll the dice or stay safe with ALEXANDER?... I will help with your post as well...
BG711 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Althoug Indy is terrible against the run, I'd go with Alexander. My thinking is Indy will get ahead early and Hou will abandon the run. More importantly, even though he has not been spectacular since coming back, I know that I would have a hard time sitting my top pick for a journeyman RB in what I'm guessing is your playoffs. Good luck. Mine
CptLeech 0 Posted December 21, 2006 I'd probably stick w/ Alexender. Can you imagine how you'ld feel if you lost w/ him on your bench? And I agree w/ above post. Texans will have to play catch up early.
kcsportsguy 0 Posted December 21, 2006 R Dayne has the better match up. Alexander isn't himself this year going against a Tough San Diego Def who needs a win to clinch home field adv. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261358
