Is the timing right to move top5 QB for a WR2?

Recommended Posts

Here's the deal,

I have Peyton Manning and Vince young. (VY sould be close to a top5 QB in our scoring). I chose to pick VY up in the 8th round instead of a WR3 b/c I thought it may be good trade bait. Now another team lost Leftwich and has shown interest in VY. Would you trade VY for D. Branch?

I need to start 1 QB and 3 WR's.

My other receivers are:

Housh, Burress, S. Holmes, G. Jennings, B. Marshall.

scoring: 1pt = 10yds, 3 pts=1td

thanks in advance gents!

I'd aim higher than Branch. I was told once that you don't have to make a deal now. You're team is fine right now.

Also, Who would you play on Mannings bye?

I own VY and am not very high on him. I think if you can get a quality starter that you will use every week for a QB that will play one week of the season, then you have to do it. I like Deion Branch this year. I say do it.

I'd wait for a better offer. I also have Manning and picked up Trent Green in the second last round, only because he plays the Browns in Manning's bye week. Trade Young for at least someone like Coles or Reggie Brown, then grab Green off the waiver wire.

Good luck.
