Parja 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Getting toward the end of my draft, I didn't see any kickers or defenses left that stood out, so I didn't draft either. My league's got free waivers until the season starts, so I figured I'd just drop a couple of guys and fill out my roster before kickoff tomorrow. Looking particularly for insight from homers why any of these guys should be held onto or dropped. Anyway, here's the late rounders I picked up. Two of these guys have to go. Don't worry too much about my other starters as I have good depth at RB and WR. Also to keep in mind, I can keep up to two of these guys next year for an 8th round pick. Lamont Jordan Chester Taylor Devery Henderson Brandon Marshall Anthony Gonzalez Dwayne Jarrett TIA, leave a link and will answer yours, and so on, and so forth. iforgotmypassword 0 Posted September 5, 2007 thanks for the response. I drop Jarrett and Marshall. #4 WR's are much easier to find later on than #1RB's. Even if their teams do suck. Henderson and Anthony have a TON more value, both this year and beyond. Anthony could well be the one you keep.

I agree I also drop Jarrett & Marshall.....I think Lamont Jordan could be a suprise this year...plus again as said above #1 RB's are so hard to find....I think this decision seems pretty easy to me... Brandon Marshall is starting across from Walker in Denver.

Interesting... That puts him and Henderson a bit closer.... Still think i'd keep henderson though... Colston/Henderson/Brees > Walker/Marshall/Cutler
sameolpete 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Drop Jarrett and Gonzalez, Marshall will be taking Rod Smith's spot
VUND 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Definitely keep Jordan and Taylor As far as WR goes, you have a tough choice as I think all 4 have definite worth this year. I would keep Henderson and Marshall as both are now the #2 guys on the team. As much as I would love to have him, I think you have to drop Gonzalez. With Harrison and Wayne he will see lots of single coverage but i think he will be inconsistent all year competing with those top two receivers. I think you also drop Jarrett. He hasn't won the starting job and rookie receivers rarely produce consistently. If you can I would try and maybe trade one of those guys for a Def or K you like from someone who may have little WR depth. You won't get a top Def but you may get one better than what's available on the WW. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284361
y0immatt 0 Posted September 5, 2007 keep your RBs and Henderson and Marshall, i think Marshall will get more looks with Walker getting more coverage. Henderson is mainly because Brees is a great QB and will use all his targets.
