Hi guys!

 

I'm in a 12-team, 6 keeper, TD heavy league, currently 3-3, start 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1K. My RB's are Addai, Westbrook, Lamont and Maurice Jones-Drew, while my WR are Housh, Brandon Marshall and Vincent Jackson. I want to make a push, and think I can afford some downgrading at RB. I'm thinking of offering the following:

 

MoJo, Marshall and a 5th round pick

for

Randy Moss and Portis

 

Is this a good sell-high on MJD, or am I letting go what might be my franchise RB for years to come?

I am not sure they will do it. If so I would go for it in a minute. You have your future running back, Addai. Moss is so much better than your receivers, with Housh and starting Westbrook, Addai or Portis you are fine.

I agree I can't really see the guy doing that. I would look to move LaMont Jordan rather than MJD. See if you can do LaMont and Marshall for a WR upgrade.

Not sure he'll got for Lamont - we started talking about Moss, and he introduced MJD-Portis in the conversation... But I think he'll go for it (might have to ratchet up my offered draft pick...)

 

Any more opinions?

We've tweaked it a bit - it's now:

 

Maurice Jones Drew, Brandon Marshall, a 1st and 6th rounder (remember, it's a keep 6, so these are essentially 7th and 13th rounders...)

for

Randy Moss, Clinton Portis and a 3rd pick

 

He seems ready to pull the trigger - should I do it?
