jmkratt 0 Posted October 25, 2007 After trying to off V. Davis this entire season it has become clear nobody wants to trade for him. With Witten on bye this week I am pondering just dropping him. I picked up K. Brady last week in another league and was satisfied. Think I should drop Davis for Brady vs WAS this week? I'd hate to drop Davis and have him explode especially with the offensive weapons NE possesses, but I need to start winning games and am starting to care less for Davis. Thoughts? Leave a link and I will help you.

Beaker101 0 Posted October 25, 2007 V Davis is all potential, but we don't know if he'll come through. Even then, he has tremendous upside, and at worst, he'll probably still outperform Kyle Brady. I'd stick with V Davis a bit longer since you've waited this long since now would be his time to shine. By the way, I know what you mean about nobody helping back...I've helped at least 2-3 times as many times as I've gotten help. Hope you'll be different .... quincyxg 0 Posted October 25, 2007 You can't drop him for Brady. I know Davis hasn't done much, but Smith is coming back and Brady has NEVER been a serviceable TE. Mine, http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298193
NotAClue 0 Posted October 25, 2007 It's really a wash for this week. Brady's TD last week was a fluke. He only recorded 10 yards total; Pats are not using him in the passing game. VD has sucked all year long, and there's a great chance he will continue to suck. However, he is SF only TE. He has a 100% chance of scoring 20 - 40 yards every game from here on out; whereas, Brady has a 0% chance of scoring anything once Watson comes back. Also, SF is without DJax this week so theoretically VD could see more targets.
Madler 6 Posted October 25, 2007 I am in the same boat. I drafted Davis and have been hanging on with him all year. I had him last year and towards the end he and Smith were great together. Hopefully with Smith back they will find the magic. Brady might get you a score this week, like he did last week, but Washington is better than Miami Stick with Smith.
