If Gore cannot play, Maurice Hicks and Michael Robinson will share running-back duties

i am looking at signing one of gore's backups if he can't play. which one will have a better game and get more fantasy points?

I hear Hicks will get a start if Gore can't play, but Robinson is a better play due to his goal-line carries.

There is already a thread discussing this. Use the search function. It has been noted that if Gore is out, Hicks will most likely be the 1st and 2nd down back, Robinson the 3rd down guy. Robinson is a converted quaterback and is still learning how to take a pounding. Hicks has a fumbling history, so it's up in the air right now who gets goal line. The key here is that the 49ers actually have to get to the goal line.

i am in the same delima but different rb's...it sucks to put gore in and then plays a few series and out he goes.i will be watching this all the way up till i can make a move at the last minute but if gore can not go i think robinson would have to be your choice.
