ric0 20 Posted November 7, 2007 the injury bug has been stinging the hell out of me. SJax, Edge, Pittman, and now LJ. i'm second in my league on the wings of my WR (wayne, braylon, mason) and gates. my rb core is KJ and SJax (who should be back this week) and shaky at best. since i'm 9/10 on the waiver wire, i doubt i can get a quality back. so that leaves me trade options and the deadline for trades ends next week. would you trade wayne (since harrision is hurt and getting most of the coverage), braylon (with the steelers coming up but has a very favorable playoff schedule), or gates (i have v. davis as backup). my other wr is roy williams whom i'm waiting to wake up. what kind of trades would you make if you were in my situation. leave a link and i'll reply. edit: 1qb/2rb/2wr/1te/1flex(wr or rb)/k/dst Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ccb123 0 Posted November 7, 2007 I am having a hard time coming up with a good answer for this one. Need more info. like how many RB, WR you start is their a flex and do you have to start a TE? That along with some options that other teams might trade(who do the teams strong at RB have). Maybe try to get a top tier RB for gates if you have to start a TE. Gates is a huge advantage if you have to start aTE, and may be worthy of a pretty good RB and I would only consider this because you seem to be in trouble at RB. He's right - you will kick yourself if you give up Braylon, Wayne, or Gates. Try your best on the waiver wire and if it doesn't work out you are still strong. Patrick977 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Jones is not ideal, but you simply cannot give up those players. You have two stud WRs and (usually) the best TE in the game. No one is going to give you the value those guys are worth, which is a Joseph Addai type RB. Stay pat and ride what you've got.
