Flex help....pick an RB

So I currently have Kevin Smith in. But news I read this morning tells me that Rudi and Kevin will split carries and that Rudi will not be used just as a change of pace.

 

With that said, pick one.

 

Kevin Jones - read above

Ricky Williams - time share with Ronnie Brown and who knows which Ricky will show up.

Ray Rice - scheduled to get the start but with a Rookie QB and who knows about Willis.

Stick with what you have. Ricky is starting but will split with Ronnie, Rudi will not take much from Kevin Smith. McGahee is probable and don't expect much out of the Ravens Offense (I'm from Baltimore and I don't expect much either)

Here's the thing...Rudi just got signed by DET. I understand that he's supposed to still have something left in the tank, but Cincy released him for a reason. Add to that the fact that I don't care who you are....he hasn't been there for a whole week even and Smith has had the opportunity to learn the entire playbook and be in camp/games.

 

With that said, Ricky Williams hasn't looked this good since his days at Texas. Dude is running with a toughness I haven't seen out of him. His contract was extended and Ronnie Brown is still recovering from the ACL.

 

Tough choice between those two this week but I would go with Kevin Smith this week, because I think this is the one week you don't have to worry about him splitting many carries and I like the fact that they have proven skill players around him.

I'd start Ricky, Brown did not play much in the preseason and is only a few months away from a knee surgery. I think Ricky will get the majority of carries this week. I read reciently that Rudi will get goal line carries, I did not read where they would share carries though.

Use Kevin Smith for sure. I see Rudi getting a max of 6-7 carries this week. He still has to learn the system.
