justfsu 0 Posted November 1, 2008 I have Barber, Lynch and T. Jones J. Fargas, Kev. Smith as my RB's I have Breaston, Bowe, Welker and Chad Johnson/Ocho Cinco as my WR's I like my slightly above average WR's (except for Ocho and the CIN Offense that can kiss my butt), but I need a consistent break out WR. I am trying to trade the owner of Fitzgerald and Steve Smith (CAR) who is desparate for a RB. 1. Is it worth it to trade one of my top RB's in order to get one of these top tier WR's? 2. What WR should I get and what RB should I give up? Both WR's have a decent schedule. Barber is my biggest stud, but has a crappy schedule. Lynch has a decent schedule and T. Jones is losing a bit of carries but has a semi favorable schedule remaing. Thanks. Please leave a link for me to help yours
FFdummy 0 Posted November 1, 2008 Here's the thing. Normaly I would love to get one of those guys. But you are going to have to give up Barber for one of them no doubt, or Jones and Lynch combo leaving ur RBs in shambles. If you can give up Jones and Lynch for Fitz and get any RB in return do it. Djurynk 0 Posted November 1, 2008 First thanks for mine. I would not trade away your stud RB's for either of those to as while your WR's are not the biggest names or lighting the world on fire its hard to find a consistent WR that does that this year. S.Smith has a history of sporadic success and Fizt gets his but must share the ball with so many others. To me a WR such as AJ at the Texans is consistent in catching balls but TD's and WR's are a hard thing to consistenly count on. Good luck in whatever you decide.. Of course if he would take Jones or Lynch I would offer them first, but you would need to package someone like Bowe with that, and even so, I would not do the deal. In fact, right now with the way Barber has played lately, I would not take him for either Smith or Fitz. chad72 0 Posted November 1, 2008 The only trade is trading Thomas Jones and Justin Fargas for Steve Smith and you can cite Steve Smith's inconsistent production being the reason you are giving Thomas Jones and Justin Fargas. It also depends on if that guy has a stud WR #3 so that he can afford to lose Steve Smith.
