hotdawg7 0 Posted September 17, 2010 Hey guys, First time posting here. What do you all think? Should I start Cedric Benson as my 2nd RB of 2 or Jonathon Stewart? My first RB is MJD. Benson has a tough match-up versus Baltimore at Cinci and Jonathan Stewart (as you all know) splits time but has a better match-up against the Bucs (in Carolina). I'm playing my brother this week so I really want to win! Much appreciated!
Durtee 0 Posted September 17, 2010 That's a pretty tough one, but I think that I would lean toward Benson. If Stewart was guaranteed 12-15 touches then it would easily be Stewart, but I think he had like 4 touches last week and there is just no guarantee that he will get get 12 touches this week. Benson has a tough matchup, but at least you know he will get some touches.
celticmoose 0 Posted September 17, 2010 Benson ran for an average of around 120 yards in his 2 games against the Ravens last year, going for over 100 each time and scoring a TD in each game. Just food for though. I have Benson.
jsomm0405 0 Posted September 17, 2010 Benson for sure.
Jeepz 0 Posted September 17, 2010 I think Benson is a fine play for the reasons mentioned above, but I also think that the Panthers will run the ball a whole lot more this week, and run it effectively. I could easily see JStew get his. That said, I think I roll with Benson and hope he can repeat last year's production against the Ravens, moreso than I would *hoping* that JStew gets enough touches. Flip a coin. If your gut says "damn, I really don't like that result" that tells you what to do
