At RB I would go with Mendenhall and Hightower. Gotta stick with your stud in Mendenhall and Hightower is playing Carolina.

 

At WR I sit Manningham and Moss. Start Garcon and Floyd. Start Bowe if Cassel plays, but Holmes if he doesn't.

Does anybody think the lineup I was thinking about is smart? I'm surprised by all the votes for Floyd and Torain. Here are my thoughts...tell me why I'm wrong. I will help you...look at my posts...I always give back.

 

Bowe (I would have a hard time losing if I didn't start him and he rebounded...part of the "start your studs" thing)

Holmes (I think he is my second best WR. The Steelers have given up a lot of receiving yardage. He's consistant)

Garcon (Favorable matchup. Getting hot. Must win.)

 

Moss (too inconsistant, but does have a good matchup)

Manningham (inconsistant, banged up; interesting with Smith on IR)

Floyd (inconsistant, banged up, have to decide soon; good matchup)

 

Mendenhall ("stud" phenomenon)

Hightower (saved my ass last week, great matchup, should get most of the carries)

 

Torain (okay matchup, should get most carries; you know who his coach is, right?)

I agree with your assessment to the T.

 

Bowe, Holmes, Garcon - however, if Croyle starts in place of Cassel, you have to go Moss because Floyd will have already played by then and I don't trust Mario.

 

Torain sits only because he's not a better option than Mendenhall and Hightower. Hightower is your #1 this week due to match-up and Mendenhall has to be started due to stud rule.
